This extension is really a good job!
Now I want to reorder the subfolders list... I'm using another extension (Manually sort folders 1.1) which is very functional, but only when the subfolders are not promoted... when I promote, the order jumps back to the default used by Thunderbird.
Is there a way to resolve this?
Thanks
Fulvio

It's superb! But unfortunately I have the same problem as Ronald since I 've updated to Thunderbird v12. I have to unbreakout, breakout after every start to get it work. :( Would appreciate a patch! :) Keep up the good work! :) Cheers

Absolutely perfect! Good job!
Now my gmail looks nice in thunderbird
EDIT:
Could you please make a option to move folders up or down?
I would like to have my Junk folder from gmail over the archiv.
Example:
now:
> Gmail
Inbox
Send
Trash
Archiv
Junk
I would like to have it like this:
> Gmail
Inbox
Send
Junk
Archiv
Trash

Excellent add-on. Please update for TB5.
Just tested and bumped compatibility for 5.*.

Really good. At last I find a compelling option for to sort the gmail folders, instead of the setting of the IMAP server directory to "[Gmail]". Thank you.
BTW, the use of computer translations for the locales is evil :P

THANK YOU THANK YOU
This has been bothering me all along, and was the only reason I was still using Windows Live Mail with POP.
Finally can move on to Thunderbird with IMAP for Gmail!!!

This is useful when use G-mail via IMAP.
>Please suggest correct translations for the following strings in your native language.
It's VERY difficult question foe me. Because Japanese and English has quite different concepts and vocabularies sometime.
A Japanese sample is the below.
1. Breakout Subfolders = 親フォルダの除去
2. Promote Subfolders = 子フォルダを昇格
3. Restore Parent Folder = 親フォルダの復元
4. Flattened = 平坦化
5. Flattened Folders = 平坦化フォルダ
5 "平坦化フォルダ" is bit unusual word
but I can't come up with any better idea for now.
To get better answer, I need more detailed information about it.
1 "親フォルダの除去" literary means "remove parent folder".
I feel that it is better than "子フォルダの解放".

Hi, thanks for new version 1.1, is working fine.
German translation:
1. Breakout Subfolders = Unterordner herauslösen
2. Promote Subfolders = Unterordner zu übergeordnetem Ordner gleichstellen
3. Restore Parent Folder = Übergeordneten Ordner wiederherstellen
4. Flattened = Flach
5. Flattened Folders = Flache Ordneransicht

Hi, thank you for this useful extension!
But I encountered an issue. There are several/a lot of (?) providers, which use the inbox folder also at “intermediate folder” at the same time.
Example (german “Posteingang” is the inbox folder): http://www.abload.de/img/zwischenablage-1r20h.png
If I use your extension, the inbox folder will be hidden. Could you fix this, that in this case (inbox folder = intermediate folder) the inbox folder is still visible?
BTW 1: German locale would be nice ;-) .
Translations:
- Flattened Folder = Flache Ordneransicht
- Breakout Subfolders = Unterordner herauslösen
BTW 2: What are the options of your extension for?
Check the new version (1.1). Hope you are happy now. Let us know how it works.
