Would probably be nice if it actually worked. Tells me it can't connect because my password is wrong (which it isn't wrong). I've seen comments where there's a workaround, but it's not worth the trouble to do the workaround when there are other add-ons that accomplish the same thing without the hassle.

Doesn't work for me. FF 12.0. I can log in to gmail manually without any problem, but using this add-on only results in a failure to connect error indicating the log-on info is incorrect (which is not). Uninstalled.

Did not work on firefox 11 (not able to log in to gmail). I didn't want to follow the previous instruction and installed the corrected version of this add on : http://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/gmail-manager-ng/

Just followed the link stated a few posts below mine:

https://github.com/tomondev/gmail-manager/blob/master/target/gmail-manager-0.6.4.1.5-tomondev.xpi?raw=true

Couldnt open in it straight to install so I downloaded it to my desktop the xpi file, went to addons, and used the install from file and its working great now. Thanks for the continued support on this. Such a useful tweak
