Thanks for palemoon compatibility!

I love this addon and have been using it for longer than I can remember. I ran into a small trouble with the 3.6 update, it isn't always showing the pictures unless I have already opened it in a new tab. This happens when I am browsing on Reddit, which is the main place that I use this amazing addon. I rolled it back to 3.5.1 and the issue went away, but am looking forward to seeing it resolved in the next update. Thank you for your excellent work!
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.6).This may be fixed in 3.7beta1. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/thumbnail-zoom-plus/versions/
Thanks by the way for letting me know about the problem, but not giving a low review.

Brilliant! Best use scenarios for me (so far): facilitates enhanced viewing of for-sale item images on Craigslist and auction sites, ameliorates my art history and photography research, and (BONUS!) delivers a HUGE improvement on a looped .gif of radar imagery provided by the National Weather Service on many of weather.gov's pages.

This addon does what it says, and it does it very well. My only gripe is certain images are not zoomed in Facebook. Also it randomly fails to zoom an image.

This is a really useful add-on, because basically you want to have an option to quickly look at the details of any picture. Sometimes the add-on is in your way, because it shows the zoomed image too fast, so you have to find a good balance concerning the setting for the delay time. Sometimes, when you move a tab to a new instance, zooming a picture there will set the focus to the old firefox instance, but there´s a workaround: simply minimize all windows but the current instance, and you´re done. Great add-on, thank you so much for boosting productivity!

I loved this app but had to disable it, it was causing my browser to lock up and crash. Before I disabled it windows task manager showed Memory (private working set) used by Firefox was over 600,000k+ and now after disabling this app Firefox only uses 346,000k. I am no longer having trouble with Firefox crashing now
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.3.1-signed).Hello, that's a Firefox bug which I think I worked around in Thumbnail Zoom Plus 3.3. Were you still having the problem in 3.3, or were you running an older version? You can reply to firefox.add.on@davidadler.name . Thanks.

Doesn't work since firefox 36 update .
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.2.1-signed).Firefox 36 is working for me, with Thumbnail Zoom Plus version 3.2.
Is it not showing pop-ups at all, on any site? Do you see any error indicator? Is there an error message in Tools > Web Developer > Browser Console?
You can reply to me at firefox.add.on@davidadler.name
Thanks,
David

You have many options, but missing something vital. You need to put in an option that says do not zoom UNLESS you press a hotkey / shift key. And once you hit the hotkey, and/or shift key it will open up immediately. The time limit you have on is ok to anyone who just wants to hover their mouse, but if you're in a picture rich environment, and you hit the time limit it opens up. I would set the time limit bigger, but if I do, even if I hit the shift key I would have to wait 1-5 seconds for it open because it's still following the time delay. Please put in an additional option to only open if we hit a key, and once we do, it should open immediately. After that I'll rate this a 5.
UPDATE:
Thanks for responding. I didn't know I had to hold the key down before I entered the picture. I was always clicking the display key while I was over it. Now I understand, and I love it. And with the extra option of maximizing the image with another key, it's perfect! Thanks again for the help. I raised my rating to 5!
Go into Thumbnail Zoom Plus preferences. Set "Key to" to "display" and set the key to SHIFT, CTRL, ALT, or Right Mouse Button. Then pop-ups will appear only if that key is down when the mouse enters the thumbnail.

I had either this or similar plug in on my last pc build with same 7970 with absolutely no issues. For some reason this is throttling my VC up to 100% usage and my temps are getting up to 80c. When browsing and I mouse over a link my VC fan starts wailing then back to low when I move mouse off link. You can imagine how bad this is if you are on a link heavy website like reddit.

- The ability to disable per site with version 3.1 cured a big pain. But you still can't exclude a site from the tool bar menu button; you have to open the extensions page, find this extension, open the options, find the corresponding section and type the name of the address of the site for each website! It is so cumbersome!
- Still the keyboard loses focus if you forget your mouse on a small image.
- If the thumbnail is the original image itself, and it is not loaded fully, TZP shows only the loaded part of the image (TZP assumes that the browser cache is always trustworty and uses the erroneous image data from there.).
- Has a very high miss rate; especially for large images.
Example:
Goto this URL: http://electronics.stackexchange.com/q/141739/5542
There are three images:
A) http://i.stack.imgur.com/FPxoi.jpg
1.228px × 694px (scaled to 630px × 356px)
B) http://i.stack.imgur.com/2347i.jpg
362px × 234px
C) http://i.stack.imgur.com/3lDxp.jpg
1.293px × 415px (scaled to 630px × 202px)
TZP opens images (2) and (3), but ignores the image (1).
