I highly recommend it.

looks pretty good, however there are features that could be useful... like a download pacing feature. some web and FTP sites ban an IP if you download too fast, being able to pause after a file downloads for a specified amount of time would be a great help.

Nice add-on works well but it would be nice if the downloads would view in the download panel rather than a dTa window. Still a very good download manager especially if you need to download alot of different files.

The speed it provides is magical, for some reason to get through with a download I have to pause every now and then and resume it to get it to reconnect to buggy servers that drop you after a few mb of data, thank you for making the internet more enjoyable!

Well, finally someone created something almost perfect! Hehehehe guys all this thing is missing is a part where you can input a username and password and it will be flawless(In my opinion), this is something I wish my computer would have learned how to do since I started downloading stuff... but yeah, as soon as this gets fixed it will be a dream come true

This add-on is great, I love it, it don't require me to install any extra program
However, I found two thing that I can suggest
- It finish download file from web, after that, tell me file exist, it different with default download tools that check existence before start download
- I don't want to timeout, just keep trying download forever before I tell it to stop, but there is not choose for no time out
Thank you again for your great add-on, I love Firefox!

Truly Brilliant, not even speed dl or igetter can match the speeds that ive had using this addon. but...... Accelerated downloads hang and restart at about 20%, which is a pain!

Just downloaded this after using firefox for years and I can't believe I never did it sooner. This will save me so much time and hassle in future. Great stuff :)

This is the extension I install second. And one of 3 I install whenever I get a Firefox install. Get this and watch your downloads come down so much faster.

DownThemAll is a great Add-on, but it will better if it has some of flashget's functions such as monitoring clipboard!

I love this plug-in. In general, it works as well as several download managers that must be purchased, and I am very pleased with it. To assist in future development, I want to point out one very annoying thing that it does.
If you are downloading files 1 - 30, enter file number 5 twice in error, and then leave, you're pretty much screwed. Once it downloads file number 5 and it begins the attempt to download file number 5 the second time, a pop-up very intelligently asks you what you want to do (rename, cancel the duplicate, etc). The problem is that everything stops until you respond. So, you return 3 hours later to discover that you have downloaded whatever was complete by the time file 5 finished the first time (1-5 files), and you have a few partial downloads, all of which are likely cancelled via time-out and have to be restarted. So, after 3 hours you now have to begin downloading the remaining 25(+) files when what should have happened is that the request for input should have timed out, and worst case, you may have to download 1 file.
There are one or two more that I've noticed but cannot remember at this time. I'll post them as I remember them. Again, I love this plug-in overall and appreciate the efforts of the authors. Thank you for your time.

Just installed this evening and, after setting up the preferences (very basic and straightforward by the way), I decided to put it to the test.
I got this basically for d/l-ing live concerts from archive.org so I first added 2 new filters (1 for Shorten files and 1 for Flac files). Very easy to set up. Set downloads to 2 at a time. Set "max chunks" (# of "multi-parts" each file is split into) to 3 and enabled disk space pre-allocation. Then I loaded it up.....
I loaded the queue with:
6 different concerts going to 6 different folders
total of 119 files totaling aprox. 3.69 gigs
combination of .zip, .flac, .shn, .md5
Total time to d/l: 1 hour 49 mins
Where I usually reach a total d/l speed of aprox. 150-160k and end up having to re-d/l a few broken files.......with DownThemAll I was maintaining aprox 570-590k and all 119 files d/l flawlessly.
I also was very happy that it took only a few mouse clicks to d/l the average of 20 files per concert page. Most concerts there have several different formats to choose from (mp3, ogg, flac or shorten, lo-fi mp3) but, with the filters I made, DTA only selected what I wanted....very nice!
I am extremely impressed with this Add-on! With the ease of installation, the simplicity of setting it up and customizing it, and the overall performance.....this gets an EASY 10 rating from me!
Thank you!

This is quick!!
One thing though, the pop up DTA manager can be distracting, if the author could combine the 'download status bar' Extension to DTA it would become the most powerful extension ever to be found in all four corners of the WWW!!!

Wow - having used download accelerators for many years this beats them all and a doddle to use to boot. Today saved a page of around 40 files each in excess of 10MB whilst I had a sandwich and a beer for lunch. Sheer magic. Opened the program on laptop and saved them across the wireless network to a PC like a dream. Thanks !!!

Combined with TabMixPlus i can open 50 tabs in one click and select a list of 300 downloads from those pages within 60 seconds. Perfect for when you have a list of items to download e.g. Stock sound effects, lecture notes, videos etc.

I've got a 512k/128k connection but I can get up to 1.1mbps with down them all. Great program though.
