Excellent - using as a substitute for Thunderbird Signatures and also for some commonly used phrases and paragraphs. In both cases flexibility is good.
Needs more clarity about how to use images stored on local volume - I reverted to using an https:// link so all good

Fantastic extension! But there is a problem: when I try to insert a special character using the numeric keypad (for example the character "²" - ALT + 0178) and in Quicktext I have associated the shortcut ALT + 1 when I type the sequence I am inserted the text associated with ALT + 1 and therefore I cannot insert the character "²"

It seems to be a great add-on, I would definitely use it if I could, unfortunately I just can't cause it doesn't allow me to use Bold, Italic or change the height of the letters on my model emails in a easy way.
If this was added I would definitely use it either in my personal computer and in my company computers.

John, You say that "The bug is solved: Version 4.2 will no longer be shipped to TB91 users. Please re-enable auto updates." BUT what if QuickText 4.2 has already been automatically installed on TB91, as is the case for me. That is, the Signatures toolbar has disappeared. Thanks. Richard

I did not go into more details, as you said you had installed 4.1 manually on that system again, which is what is needed to be done.

Every TB91 system which got auto updated to 4.2 has to revert back to 4.1. The version 4.2 is for Thunderbird 102 and I made an error by shipping it to TB91 users. That is fixed now and will not happen again.

Same problem on my dad's computer (mine had not upgraded yet).
Solved by returning to 4.1, and blocking auto-updates, until the bug is solved.

J'ai le même problème...plus de barre d'outils . Je vois que je ne suis pas la seule! module très très utile .

This excellent accessory has long been indispensable for me. Many thanks for it. Unfortunately, the Quicktext toolbar disappeared in my Thunderbird today. I will be grateful for the fix or for any advice how to fix it.

HELP !
La barre d'outils Quicktext vient de disparaître aujourd'hui, je crois suite à une mise à jour du module. La solution 'Affichage' > cocher 'Quicktext' ne résout pas le problème. La désinstallation et réinstallation non plus.

Le module est tellement pratique qu'il est devenu indispensable pour moi, si quelqu'un pouvait m'aider à corriger cela ce serait d'une grande aide !

j'avais le problème de disparition de la barre d'outils de QText si çà peut aider : aller dans ecrire u message , puis/barre de menu / affichage puis dans le menu déroulant re-cocher "quick text"
I had the problem of disappearance of the QText toolbar if it helps: go to write a message, then / menu bar / display /then in the drop-down menu re-check 'quick text'

The best tool I have used for improving email work productivity. Only a few more updates would make it the best ever but I can not complain it all.

This review is for version 4.1 on Thunderbird 91.4.1. I was looking for a way to store more than one signature and then easily insert them depending on circumstance. This add-on can handle this, plus more. It appears that the development team has plans to add the ability to automatically insert text etc. when opening a mail compose window, differentiating between new mails, replies, and forwards. I am eagerly awaiting this addition.

very intuitive with many possibilities to integrate customizations with Javascript.

This is an essential tool for me in rapidly replying to queries and emails using templates made from previous replies that took some time to initially think through and compose. Now I simply personalise and make any needed change to the basic reply. Such a time saver and the work done on the initial mail is able to be reused.
