I have been using the add-on for a long time and it does exactly what it promises:
- multiple account checking / login
- customizable account titles (allows shortening the space)
- shows messages in tags
- is customizable :)

I used this for years until features quit working and it wasn't updated. Even though there is an older version, it's time to find another add on instead. It's sad that this hasn't been maintained

Hello. I had been using your (former 5 STARS) plugin for quite some time. What I was finding HUGE was the snippet function.This NEAT list of the last 10 (or something) mails, each with a little snippet.
That was huge. But doesn't seem to be working anymore. Don't know if you'll have the time to fix it (or if it's even possible), but I never took the time to thank you anyway. So here it is:thanks;)

In its 0.5 days, it worked relatively well with minor bugs. Since 0.6, the dev made many changes, introducing many bugs and removing features. Add to this that the dev is MIA for 5 months, and it's time to move on to a new add-on.

I miss, among other things, automatic switching to the account with new messages.

I'm using a jury-rigged 0.5.7.5 until this is gets back the features I love most:
-Single status icon for all accounts
-Mail snippets on hover
If people like the new functionality, you can make it an OPTION. But why mess with a good thing?

This used to be my favorite addon. However, the last few versions of gmail manager have been extremely buggy. I keep waiting for fixes, but several versions later, it's still having problems. Truly sad, considering I recommended this to a lot of friends & family, who became addicted & reliant on this addon. We all have to find a new one to replace this with it seems.
Some problems I've been having:
1. No 'new mail' snippets appear anymore!
2. Mail doesn't check at the specified interval, as it once did.
3. There is an icon on the status bar for every gmail account I have (previous versions grouped it all in one icon).
4. The "mailto:" feature is acting up. It doesn't correctly open in a new tab, as I wanted it to, & it doesn't open in the right account either. Where's the old "mailto" functionality?
Basically, I'm just waiting and asking for the old functionality of gmail manager, say...back during Firefox 3 or 4.

Giving it 3 stars b/c, I LOVE Gmail Manager but HATE version 0.6. I know alot of you out there feel the same way. You don't need to be stuck with 0.6. There is a very easy way to install version 0.5.7.5 of the extension in the newest version of firefox (3.6.*). I have posted the more details and instructions in the addon forums, at:

Todd's Gmail Manager worked fine for a long time and then the icon disappear from the toolbar, as well as from the array of icons when viewing "customize." Repeated attempts of uninstalling and reinstalling did not solve the problem--I was locked out! And so went to his site, which had an older version of the add-on. That too failed to show an icon. I now use Gmail Notifier which I used long, long ago and it has always been solid, getting you through the door. Shame, I get bonded to good add-ons. This happened with a previous upgrade of Firefox as well. So I have given it 3 stars--as a homage to its working status before, but its a fiver when functioning--i.e., if you can find an icon to initiate it....

Wished I would have found this addon sooner. I have a few emails for different domains registered to my place of work. This simplifies the process sooooo much. 5 Stars

i like this wonderful add-on. but since the latest version 0.6., i miss the possibility to watch my received mails, if i point with the mouse at the google mail symbol in my navigation bar. can you help me?
