Excellent add-on. Does exactly what is claims. It works on 91.6 btw.

Sehr hilfreiches, eigentlich 5-Sterne-Addon. Leider werden Fehler seit einiger Zeit nicht mehr behoben. Schade.

The main reason I wanted this is for when I click on an email address and that results in a compose window opening. That process bypasses the plugin unfortunately whereas those are the times I forget to choose the correct identity. When clicking on compose I would generally automatically be in the correct account.

Thank you! Exactly what I wanted! Forces a choice from the account(s) I have preset when I open the compose window. If I do need to send from one of my other accounts, I am still able to make that choice in the composition window.

Great extension, been very helpful as I have many mailboxes. Unfortunately causing issues with new version 91.0.1, when choosing Reply All to a message the previous message is not quoted in the message compose window. Hopefully a small bug fix and we can get back to enjoying this extension again.
Went straight to github and made sure I had latest version (3.0) but still seems to have same issue
Please update Identity Chooser to version 3. This should fix it.

I loved this addon while I was on TB38 for years but now that I've updated to TB78 the buttons have never worked with Identity Chooser 2.2. I've tried the disable/enable trick a lot and removed all other add ons but no joy. I left it installed in the hope that it'll come back to life some day. I left a comment at github also. Thanks for the add on, I'll bump the rating to 5stars as soon as my install works again.

I regret not finding this sooner, as I've sent some email messages with a personal vanity account.

tolles Add-on, allerdings tauchen 2 Bugs bisweilen auf.
1. es kommt gar keine Auswahl zustande, e-Mail lässt sich nur aus dem Hauptmenü heraus beantworten
2. offene e-Mails werden vermischt: Antwort bei e-Mail 1 erzeugt Empfänger von e-Mail 2, da muss man aufpassen.

Ist für mich leider der falsche Ansatz. Es wird das Pferd von hinten aufgezäumt. Dreh- und Angelpunkt ist der Empfänger. Davon ausgehend muss bei mir die richte Absenderadresse automatisch ausgewählt werden.

Das Addon funktioniert korrekt.

It's a very useful addon. Thank you.
However, TB 78.6 seems to have broken it. On my (win 10 64-bit) system the id selection window no longer appears when I create or reply.

Thank you very much for creating this. I've been looking at mail relay agents and a lot of other possible solutions to prevent myself from sending emails with the wrong identity. This simple solution will work just fine.

I also found out, that in the latest beta version no accounts will be shown pressing the button reply and forward although these fields are marked in the settings of IC.

Identity Chooser 2 currently does not enhance the reply/forward buttons in the main toolbar. Only in the message header.

Simply stuning!
I use it for many years now without any problems. Even the new development for TB>=78 works as expected. Bugs are fixed really fast.
