Identity Chooser

Besides to colors (tnx to the author for driving us to use a 'patch' for this lack) I was wondering if the option to bold the identity to choose, is also lacking in this new version or if I missed it while I was testing this version. In fact I'm still with TB 68.x, but I'm also testing 78.x on a device in orded to be ready when all of my essential addons will be ported on it.

It seems fine. However it lacks the management of "Reply all". So, for example in my case where I want to have only icons in the toolbar, I have them for all of them except for "Reply All" where there is the icon+the string.
Beside, I would like to know if it is going to support Mailredirect extension as soon as it will be ported to TB 78.x. Tnx

I have been waiting for such an extension for a long time!
Beside, I would like to provide it with the translation into Italian.
As it is very simple (just a couple of strings) I put it below. Please note that I give 2 versions of the translation because I don't know if the apostrophe (') should be escaped or not.

As said by others, this addon does not works fine as the previous version. There are some bugs and inconsitences. Besides, it is not compatible anymore after TB 68.7.0 was released.

This addon is very useful for my work,
However I can confirm that if I remove the first component of the recipient list, then a a blank line stays in place of it in this this release.
Besides, in the previous version I translated into Italian the few lines needed. I don't see they were moved to this new version or new strings were added.

It seems promising! It onlly lacks an icon on the right side to be added near to the Activity & Events ones just below the main menu. Anyway I don't know if this is possible with the new standards of TB.

Just to inform all of you that I contacted the author who told me that he doesn't use TB anymore and does not intend to update this extension for TB 68+

I was used to use CalDAV for Calendar e Google Task Sync for tasks. Being Google Tasks Sync incompatible with TB 60, I decided to move to Provider for Google Calendar to bypass the problem. This slows a little bit the load of my Calendars events but at least allows to meto have the tasks synced and inside TB!

It is TB 60 compatible!
You just need to rename startupmaster-1.6.5-fx+tb.xpi file to startupmaster-1.6.5-fx+tb.zip.
Then you need to open it with a zip manager (I use 7zip).
It will be composed of different files and subdir.
Identify install.rdf file (in the root dir). Open it with an editor like notepad because the extension .rdf is really a .txt extension.
Identify the Thunderbird section of the file and change this line:
<em:maxVersion>56.*</em:maxVersion>
to:
<em:maxVersion>61.*</em:maxVersion>
Save the file and repackage StartupMaster with a zip manager, You should get a startupMaste.zip file.
Change again its extension from .zip to .xpi and now install it.
This way it works also with TB 60!

It seems not to work anymore with TB 60. Promotion or collapse of folders has no effect, at least IMHO. I hope it could be updated even if I suspect it will be not.

I also would like to have an update of this useful app for TB 60 and I also candidate myself sometime ago for its translation into Italian but I did not receive any answer.

As I wrote in private to the author (I'm the Italian translator of this addon), CT doesn't work anymore starting form TB 60.
Hoping it will update ASAP, I continue to give 5 stars.

As previously reported, while this addon (v. 1.2.20) is claimed to be compatible with TB v. 64 or lower, it appears not to work anymore starting from TB 60.0. In particular if you try to access its options, TB doesn't respond and you should kill it!
Hoping it will be updated, I continue to give 5 stars.

gContactSync

I have been using this extension for at least 2 years with success. Unfortunately, few days ago, as soon as I installed TB version 52.0 (final release), I got a problem caused by gContactSync both using its "official" 2.0.11 version and also its developmental version 3.00alpha4.
The problem is that I can't drag and drop anymore contacts from an addressbook into mailing list(s) both for the "GMail synced addresssbook" and also for all the other addressbooks I have.
So I had to inactivate gContactSync at the moment, unless when I need to sync my Google Contacts otherwise I cannot assign contacts to mailing list(s) and/or I need to move contacts from an addressbook to another one.
I hope that it could be possible to patch this annoying bug.

As I wrote in the subject, I found thi addon useful for my job, unfortunately when I installed it using TB52I got a black area where the button area of addressbook tab/window is and so I could not make any choiche. Probably the style colorcss must be reconsidered. If the author wants I can send him a screeshot of what happens.

I discovery only today this litte jewel.
It is very useful for those who do not like the hierarchical structure folders in GMail under Thunderbird.
I presently use the latest TB version (45.1.0) and FlatFolderTree works perfectly!
You simply need to expand the .xpi file (which is exacly as a .zip file), open its .rdf file (which is a .txt file) with an editor (like notepad or notepad++) and change the label:
<em:maxVersion>3.1</em:maxVersion>
to, for example:
<em:maxVersion>50.*</em:maxVersion>
Being Italian I also added the translation for my language :-)
