In Ubuntu, you might need to install p7zip-full.

Great application, can't do without it.

v0.8 does not install on FF 3 and does not exist on home site.

1. on autocopy.mozdev.org the forum is linking to an all advertising page (http://amleet.com/projectsBB/index.php)
2. version 0.8 is missing on autocopy.mozdev.org
3. version 0.8 doesn't install on firefox 3.0 rc3

I have to say this is my favourite add-on for Firefox. When it finally got upgraded to work with Firefox 3, I rejoiced as I was still expecting selected text to be copies to the clipboard.

tl;dr This is such a worthwhile add-on, when you get used to it, you will never want to be without it again!

This extension works fine in RC2. You have to actually edit the extension to get it to work however. I have added instructions on my site:

This was one of the most useful addons I've ever used. Can't imagine working without it. Please update for FF3 RC2.

the 0.8 version doesn't work at all. i had to downgrade back to 0.64

Version 0.8 just plain sucks!

It simply will NOT work with FF 2.0.0.14 - tried on my desktop and my laptop. No errors during installation, but after restarting FF it just won't copy anything.

Uninstalled 0.8 and reinstalled 0.6.4 and all is well once again.

WE NEED 0.8.1 ASAP! Until then, use the older version.

This is one of the first add-ons that I ever downloaded, and it's the one I couldn't live without at this point! It's become such a habit to simply highlight text and hop into Word to paste it that I'm still surprised when it doesn't work in other programs! Keep up the great work - it saves keystrokes and a lot of mind-numbing repitition.

AutoCopy 0.8 could not be installed because it is not compatible with Firefox 3.0.

What's the alternative of this addon to Safari? Firefox is the best for PC's, but I have a mac, and obviously Safari works better on mac rather than FIREFOX.

I think there are some times I don't have to autocopy the words in the input-box, because it says "input your keyword".

The title says everything.
The install button is here (for version 0.8), but after download it says it's not compatible with Firefox.
Also when you go to the official site, version 0.8 doesn't exist: it's only version 0.6.4.

When is this extension going to be updated?
