I used IE for many years just because I could save the pages that interested me in mht format. I just changed IE for Firefox when I finally found an addon that allowed me to open those pages that for so long I was saving (with IE). By today I have been using the addon for many years to save pages as .mht and I have literally several thousand pages stored in my HD, external disks, pen drives, CD's, etc.
It is not practical for me to convert all that material. If there is not a solution soon I will have to stop using Firefox.

Ich kann, wie viele andere User, nicht glauben, dass FF dieses unschätzbare Addon einfach rauskickt. Ich benutze es praktisch täglich und kann nur an die Firefox-Entwickler appelieren, eine Lösung zu finden, um es in die neue Version einzubinden. Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass es Zehntausenden von Usern ähnlich gehen wird wie mir, wenn sie feststellen, dass ihre digitalen Archive plötzlich so nicht mehr verwendet werden können.

Agree with others. I've used Firefox for as long as I can remember, and I use MHT extensively (and MAFF rather less). No, I'm not going to convert hundreds of stored pages to a worse format. I'll use another browser instead. Stupid, stupid decision.

It's sad that Firefox is committing suicide. I'm a long time Firefox fan but unless this and the other key add-ons are supported I will be permanently moving to Chrome.

Not compatible with vesion 57 :(
Do you have in your plans to make it to work with FF 57?

I have been using this add on for ages. It has been immensely useful, among the most useful of all extensions I'd say without exaggeration. However,I have learned this this invaluable add on is now deprecated and in fact, will no longer be usable with future builds of FF beyond November. This is a mistake. This functionality should be built in to FF not removed completely.

I urge the developers to incorporate this add on as an out-of-the-box feature in future releases of FF rather than kill it off completely.

J'ai essayé de nombreux modules. Mozilla Archive est pour moi le plus fiable dans sa restitution. Il garde exactement le format de la page sans erreur. C'est un must.

This is one of the best extensions ever written for Firefox. I have saved many pages in .maff format. I sure hope it gets v.57 compatibility!

This is such an excellent add-in for web page archival. You can even store multiple web pages in a single MAFF file! I use this feature extensively, as it is far superior to the MHT/MHTML format.
Is there a way to donate to this work in order to help incentivize continuing development?

Why does not the developer propose to add maff and mhtml support natively to Firefox? this would solve the problem of webex compatibility once and for all. After all, Firefox adds so much useless feature and it would not mess up on anything.

Once you add multiprocess support I will add this extension back. Touchscreen support is only enabled when multiprocess is on. This is one of the holdouts.
