At least it works truly fine so far. But it doesn't really sync with the tb-tasks, just adds google tasks as an extra tasks-field. I can live with that, but I'm really missing the possibility of adding and editing subtasks (google has it) and a possibility to view all tasks at once not only one specific list (maybe like "all" in the dropdown-menu). 5 stars if it improves on that. thanks for this add-on.

Edit: After the response I tried out more intensly and found out the trick with ctrl+arrows. That's worth a lot. 4/5 now. Thanks again.

You can create subtasks, just like in Google's web interface. Just choose "rearrange tasks" from the drop-down menu next to the sync button.

The add-on doesn't sync with Lightning's tasks because they differ greatly from Google in what fields tasks have and how they are stored.

Useful addition so I can have google tasks alongside google calender (via lightning) in thunderbird.

One small request: it'd be nice if I could add a new task by single/double clicking rather than having to click on the + every time.. feels a little clunky compared to using the web-based tasks.

Thanks for this great AddOn. It's exactly what I've been looking for!

Maybe you could add the option to show all tasks (from all lists) together, instead of having to select only one list at a time.

When thunderbird is launched from a terminal the extension appears to display the access_token in DEBUG statements. This seems unnecessary and could potentially be a security risk.

EDIT: The developer has been in contact and has said these will be removed in a future release. The chance of a security breach from this is incredibly slim anyway.

The add-on is not designed to protect a user's data when their PC is compromised. What you pointed out is of little importance considering the add-on stores all of your tasks in plain text in the profile directory anyway (and all the tokens in preferences, which are also plain text). That being said, you're right about it being unnecessary, so I'll remove it in the next update. Thanks for the heads up.

We are using this app very succesfully with thunderbid+lightning. It is very nice, simple, and easy to set up. Comparing to Lightning it can not set priority and procentage, but I belive that comes from google tasks (un)ability.
It would be nice to use it with more google accounts, same as calendar. It is very oft that user want to make difference between private and bussines tasks, or to read/write in somebody elses tasks for example.
We would like to donate, please send a data.

Would be nice. But it's rather a request for a feature that Google even doesn't provide. Neither at the full website, nor at the mobile one.

Workaround: cut task title and paste into another list's new task item.

It's a great add-on, I mean it's perfect. It works correctly with Google Tasks, and it syncs. One thing I would like to add is the ability to delete the task. I tried right clicking, checking the details inside but no clues.

Actually this one is good but when comparing with Lightning tasks that we used when there was no suitable Google task add-ons, this one has far less features. I like to add "status", "progress" and attach documents to my task, but there's no such feature in Google... I understand this is not the fault of the author. Just feeling a bit disappointed with the lack of features of Google task :(

thank you for developing this add-on... the only improvement i can think of is that if the panel size can be permanently adjusted that would be great... currently it takes too much space and squeezes my calender to the top; after i adjusted the size, it goes back to how big it was before next time i open the thunderbird window. but again, this is a useful add-on and I very much appreciate it.
