New TB 78 doesn't show LIST email addresses like MRC did.

Hi Mickel,
Thank you for your work on this add-on! can't move from MS Outlook to TB without this feature. I'm using TB68.8.0 under Ubuntu 18.04 and I notice that I can't show 'CC' bu default in all new mails, however 'BCC' is shown by default and can't disable it!

Merci beaucoup pour ce super addon! J'ai eu des problèmes avec la saisie automatique de mes adresses électroniques dans Thunderbird et je cherchais une solution de rechange. Avec votre addon, j'ai trouvé un moyen de contourner le problème - et des fonctionnalités supplémentaires formidables! Bravo!

Thank you so much for updating this to work with TB68. Until it was available, TB68 was unfit for purpose & so I was stuck with an older version. It is crazy that such a basic vital usability feature as being able to see, copy & paste a row of email addresses like in virtually every other email program for over 30 years has taken so long to be available as standard in Thunderbird. Without your work there would probably have been far fewer users willing to move over to Thunderbird.

For your information, next Thunderbird (75 or 78 ?) will finally include a native new UI for defining recipients, similar to MRC Compose and even better (emails as bubbles !).

Comment faites-vous pour copier coller une liste de destinataires à partir d'un tableau, sans avoir à repasser par du texte pour ajouter les virgules manuellement ?

je suis désolé, mais il n'y a pas d'outils pour ajouter des virgules automatiquement lors d'un copier/coller.
Cela avait été évoqué un moment, mais cela peut être assez complexe car les données à gérer peuvent être très différentes, donc quasiment un cas particulier à chaque copier/coller.
La solution certes manuelle, mais sûre, est de faire vous-même la transformation et la vérification des données que vous voulez coller. J'insiste sur l'aspect vérification !
De plus, comme ce module va devenir obsolète dans quelques semaines (la prochaine version de Thunderbird va modifier l'interface de composition des messages) , il n'est plus envisagé de développer de nouvelles fonctionnalités.
Comme Thunderbird 68 sera maintenu jusqu'en fin 2020, ce module fera de même.

This is a MUST have for Thunderbird.
I'm having a problem with the latest version (2.0.2): it does not search in LDAP only local address books. Can you please fix it? Thanks.
[edit] After some more tests I found that when selecting only LDAP it works. Also works when selecting LDAP and a remote address book thru carddav/activesync (I also use TBSync and CardDAV and Activesync address books).
When selection local address books (including collected) and LDAP only local work.

I was using this excellent add-on for years, and it is now that it is no more available, due to compatibility reason with TB 68.2 that I realize up to which extend this add-on is absolutely a "Must Have" !
I hope, Michel, that you'll find a solution very soon to provide us with a new version, compatible with new versions of TB !

Great module, should be integrated natively in Thundbird.

For TB68, i'm working on it. TB68 brings a lot of changes for addons devs, so it's not an immediate task. I can tell you that core functionnality is ok, I still need to work on settings, and maybe other parts.

This addon has the potential to be used daily. However, it is not compatible with Cardbook and, indeed, is therefore inactive for me.

il semble incompatible avec CarBook, du moins, il bloque l'apparition des contacts proposés par CardBook dans le panneau "contacts" associé à l'écriture d'un message.
Y a t-il un paramétrage à faire ? sur MRC ou Cardbook ?

La version 2.0 a été validée et vous pouvez la télécharger : elle est compatible TB68 et elle peut lire les carnets d'adresses de Cardbook !

Really great extension, thank you for all your work! This is really how Thunderbird should work "out of the box", in the year 2019! :-)
Just a couple of little things. Firstly, when I enter the contact's name into the "To:" field, the surname is underlined with a wavy red line - I don't wish to spellcheck this (and I already have spellchecking turned off everywhere in thunderbird) - so is there a way to disable the spellchecking of the names? Also, when the name appears in the "To:" field, it is surrounded with a dark blue box which clashes a little with the default Thunderbird look/feel - is there a way to change the colour of this box, or make it a lighter grey?

The add-on is very good and useful.
I am rating it 5 stars but notice that it still doesn't work with the CardBook add-on.
Until it works, I have it disabled.
