I just downloaded this add-on and love it. Very well done, user friendly utility. One concern/comment I have is that it does not support FTP to mainframe. I would like to see it either support mainframe platform or providing a interface for me to type get/put commands.

This is really really awesome! Beats any other FTP client I've used before, paid and free! AND it's only a FF extension! I saw your FireFTP mozdev page and I would definitely donate you a couple of bucks if I had a paypal!

Great FTP. I just have one question.

When I look at my server space via the FireFTP, I don't see my ".htaccess" file and other files such as ".ftpquota" . It's there, but it doesn't show up when looking at it via the FireFTP. How can I make these file show up in FireFTP? Is there a settings that I need to check?

Top, on ne demande rien de plus à un client FTP. Très léger, et pourtant si efficace. Dites au revoir à filezilla, leechftp, etc ....

Nice program, but has some bugs, and it appears to be unmaintained...I will be looking for a better alternative.

Great idea. I wish you could open it in the same tab to have it open as you work on web pages but if you download this and Split Browser add on you are set!

I like this addon and don't use it much as I mostly download large MPG files from my PVR which have been as large as 18gig sometimes. Presently I use filezilla but I dont like having to many programs installed, so this addon is perfect except for the above.

Any plans on resolving the file size issue. I like this APP and don't use it cos I mostly download large MPG files from my PVR which have been as large as 18gig sometimes. Presently I use filezilla but I dont like having to many programs installed, so this addon is perfect except for the above.

Agree with previous speaker... This seems to be a good ftp client but if you download big files it will fail. Just fail with error but silently download a file that doesnt exists. I downloaded a 2.5 GB, fireftp reported it needed to download 3.8 GB. After 4.8 GB downloaded i canceled it... AND uninstalled fireftp forever...

Excellent! Forget about external FTP clients with this. The option of just calling this on Firefox makes it invaluably useful. Plus it works and it works flawlessly!

The addon is great for small ftp sessions. Not good for long sessions or heavy data transfers, just because it adds an additional layer of firefox. I use filezilla otherwise, which has much more control

It's not okayed yet for 3.1beta, but I just installed it on 3.1b1 and it works fine!

I've used it for years, and it's an amazing extension. Useful, intuitive, even good-looking!
