Terrific addon!
I am using version 4.5.5. It has still few bugs (can't resize original attachments when you forward messages), but works well with Thunderbird 68.7.0.
Could you please add support for PNG image format ?

Before that, I used the "Auto Resize Image" addon, which provides very interesting functionalities, but it is no more maintained.

Je vois régulièrement des mise a jour, mais ça ne fonction toujours pas avec la dernière version de thunderbird.
Il n'y a plus aucun moyen d'envoyer des photos avec un mail.
je vais surement quitter cette messagerie, qui ne réponds plus a mes attentes

Leider funktioniert das Add-on nicht mehr. Die Bilder werden zwar verkleinert, aber beim Senden kommt der Hinweis "Nachricht konnte nicht gesendet werden". Das Problem besteht seit einigen Monaten.

Funktioniert leider nicht mehr unter Thunderbird 60.3.1
Mit dieser Version werden die Emails mit Anhang von Bildern leider nicht mehr gesendet. Bitte um Anpassung des Addon.

great tool but not working with custom resize e.g 5000 px. "send message error - sending of message failed"
also after resize of more than one image. tried to resize two images to 3000 px. for one image resize is working fine.

Hi, with Thunderbird 60 there are no "OK" and "Cancel" buttons in the config dialog of "Shrunked Image Resizer" any more. In the former releases of Thunderbird this was not a problem. So I can't use this addon any more.

Is there any plan to update this extension to firefox 57+ (quantum) ?

I've been using this one for years now and I can't see myself going back to resizing pictures in an image editor before uploading them :)

I am disappointed! This program didn't work with gmail using Firefox 41.0.2. I tried it with both Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.
