Having upgraded to Firefox 3 & FireFTP 1.0.1 (on Mac OS 1.5) we seem to have problems with sending 1GB+ files to our Livewire server (www.livewire.co.uk) - they time out. Was never a problem on Firefox 2 & FireFTP v0.97. Anyone else had problems??

Boy does this make life easier at clients' FTP sites! Use it at least once a week.

It seems doesn't support wide char huh?
I got error message when I was trying to download a wide-character-named file.

You might have to change the encoding you are working with to download the file. Go to Account Manager->Advanced->Server Encoding and perhaps try West European->Western (ISO-8859-1) or whatever region the server might be located in (e.g. Chinese servers tend to use East Asian->Chinese Simplified (GB18030))

I love FireFTP! Makes it so easy to spare me the bother of 10 pieces of software oepn at once, for one thing. This and ScribeFire are two excellent reasons for why I love Firefox. Blogging and FTPing - and web surfing. Wonderful life.

When my host stopped supporting Frontpage extensions, it was time to go back to ftp. FireFTP worked flawlessly for me and my clients. If you use ftp, you will want this add-on.

This add-on revolutionized my ftp relationship to my domain. It's hard to believe this add-on has this functionality. Now I can drop my ftp clients or use them a a backup. Can't say enough good things about it! The best part is I an use SubPad as my editor.

I've tried and used loads of different FTP clients over the years and have found this to be a perfect replacement to my previous fave CuteFTP. Love the fact that FTPing is now where it should be - totally integrated into the browser. Great work, thanks and carry on.

It's ok, but I had hoped it would look a bit easier to access. Many users do not understand this kind of interface. Like TransmitFTP (on Mac) looks more user friendly. Functionality is ok, though.

What a fantastic add-on. I can now throw away ws-ftp and mifiles. This is much better and quicker.

Extension non testée, car ne fonctionne même pas! Se contente simplement d'écrire que la connexion ne peut pas être établie et de réessayer plus tard.
Peut-être qu'elle fonctionne sous Windows seulement.
