FlashGot Link doesn't work with Orbit.
Everytime I try to download using FlashGot Link with Orbit, a window will appear:

Microsoft Windows
FlashGot.exe has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

However, if I download via clicking the file link, then choose to download via FlashGot -> Orbit, it will not happen, it works.
And if I change the download manager to be Free Download Manager, the FlashGot Link will also work.

I hope this will be fixed. :)

you can use this with the built in firefox download manager and use it just for media downloading. so not only can it be used with external downloaders but also with the built in one.

only media downloader extension currently compatible with firefox 3.1b1 rc

I used to like it. But now I use the FDM plugin for firefox, and this extension is not required. Its frequent updates frustrate a lot.

I used this for ages, but a mixture of too many updates, bloat and feature creep meant that I've recently removed it and started using Free Download Managers built in Firefox compatibility.
Not a bad add-on, just ott if you just want to use it as a link between Firefox and an external download manger.

It works perfect, but why is it updated so frequently? It's irritating to be honest, cause I am not interested in newer stuff, I like the way it is..

I was using FlasGot since my first download of Firefox (more than 3 years ago). Since then I was testing many extension regarding file downloading. At the beginning I was using FlashGot only as link for Firefox and FlashGet (now I prefere Free Download Manager). Recently FlashGot has completely new feature: one-click download of embaded media. I have tested it on Xfire & YouTube (flv), Game Trailers (mov), MP3.com (mp3) and many more. In all cases FlasGot media download works even better than any other extension for firefox!!

Wersja 1.1.1.1 nie działa.
Nie można już wybrać menadżera wbudowanego w przeglądarkę. W opcjach można sobie poklikać na menadżerze wbudowanym - ale nie odnosi to żadnego skutku. Na stronie domowej nie ma możliwości pobrania starszej wersji (najnowszej też nie)
Jeśli szybko nie będzie jakiejś wersji bez błędu to daje sobie spokój z tym rozszerzeniem .

This has been my most favorite firefox addon. Enhances the download capability to the max. I have been using it with FlashGet and so far have not faced any trouble. One click download by "Flashgot Link" from the context menu work great. Works with almost all the websites that I have been using including streams and redirection.

A very good job. Keep up the good work.
