This is the best dark theme I've found. There's always something a bit off with other ones I find. It's beautiful! I wish I could theme my whole computer this way. Imagine my surprise when I found this was available for Firefox! I don't usually write reviews but this theme definitely deserved one...

You guys really went miles for this one. It stands out, really great looking! Would definitely pay few $ for the possibility of changing accents colour. I'm dreaming of a green one.. Something like #6ac300 green.. ;)

I've used TT Deep Dark so many years with FossaMail (a fork of Thunderbird), I can't remember how long. It's my all time favorite theme.
Sadly, it no longer works with the latest FossaMail v27. I tried changing the minVersion to 27.0 (which is the latest version of FossaMail) in the install.rdf of TT DeepDark v10.0.3, but it won't install. I expected this to work since Fossamail 27.0 is mostly function-wise compatible with Thunderbird 38.0, but no joy.
Please add support for FossaMail.

For quick switch between userstyle on/off I use keyconfig and such rules:
Alt+S (switch on) Components.classes["@mozilla.org/preferences-service;1"].getService(Components.interfaces.nsIPrefBranch).setBoolPref("extensions.stylish.styleRegistrationEnabled", false);
Alt+D (switch off) Components.classes["@mozilla.org/preferences-service;1"].getService(Components.interfaces.nsIPrefBranch).setBoolPref("extensions.stylish.styleRegistrationEnabled", true);

Have been using this add-on almost as long as I have been using Thunderbird for 2+ years now. Has always worked beautifully and still does after a recent update of Thunderbird to 45.2.0 in my Linux Ubuntu operating system. I highly recommend this add-on for it's looks and performance!

Bien, mais trop noir, ce que je trouve fatigant à la longue. Un gris aurait ma préférence. Ou, comme dans certaines applications (chez Adobe, par exemple), avoir le choix des nuances.
Nice, but too dark, which I find tiring in the long run for my eyes. A gray would be my preference. Or, as in some applications (Adobe, for example), have the choice of shades.

I love this theme.
Will it ever be available for Macs, I use FT DeepDark on my PC
Despite the fact it is not officially available for MAC, you can anyway install it on this platform. Indeed, few MAC users download the package and installed it on MAC and it seems to work. There will be probably few small visual glitches due to the differences that there are between platforms, but globally the theme should look ok. Just try to download the file from your PC and then pass it on your MAC and install the theme manually through the add-ons manager option "install add-ons from file".

Works with TB45! Some issue were fixed, and some platform support got improved. Amazing.

Awesome theme, works very well with dark desktop environments.
It is not available for Thunderbird 45.0 though.
