Thank you!!! I've been waiting for this for years now. Adding brackets when forwarding makes absolutely zero sense.

This is a great extension, just because it let me change the default forward subject prefix "[Fwd:" and suffix "]". (I removed the brackets.) Having the ability to clean up other messy subject headers is a big bonus.

It works great. Huge time saver.

All it needs is a scroll bar on the phrase dialog. After that it should be taken out of the sandbox.

aber ich würde vielleicht doch gerne noch eine Nummerierung in der Betreffzeile haben... z.b. die Anzahl der gelöschten AW: RE: RE: usw als Postfix [#3]... damit kann man anhand der Betreffzeile die Nachrichten gut sortieren - hat aber gleichzeitig noch ein Unterscheidungsmerkmal ;-)).....
Vielleicht liese sich auch anhand der erkennbaren Antworten innerhalb des Textes die "Versions- Nummer der nachricht" bestimmen???

a simple prefix cleaner that erases any extra prefixes and leaves you with only a "Re: subject".
all prefixes that should be deleted must be configured in the settings.
Performs as described.
