To use Send Later, no OpenPGP key can be associated to the account.
With OpenPGP key associated, draft is saved with encryption by the key.
This makes Send Later fail due to `Encryption compatibility issue`.
Probably Send Later cannot decrypt the scheduled mail by itself.
OpenPGP having been promoted as a standard feature of Thunderbird,
it would be nice if Send Later could handle this
(Though I know considering OpenPGP behavior would be too hard or perhaps impossible).

Send Later can't handle this case because of a deficiency in Thunderbird. The Thunderbird development team is in the process of addressing this deficiency. Soon there will be a way to avoid this issue. See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1681168.

This extension works reliably, and sends e mails within one minute of the selected time (no idea why not to the second, but it doesn't matter!)

This is a brilliant and indispensable add-on! If you're used to relying on Gmail or Outlook unsend features, you can install this add-on and check the option " 'Send' delays messages by _ minutes".
If possible, I'd only have 2 requests to the developer:
1- could you please allow floats for minutes? (e.g., 0.5 minutes)
2- the only thing I miss with this setup is a "Send it now" button readily available. Could you perhaps add this button as a possibility too? Right now, when I click "Send", it actually uses Send Later with a 1 minute delay. If I'm ok with the message and want to send it right away, I must click to edit it, then click "Send Later" and then click "Send Now" in the new menu. I'd appreciate having the possibility of clicking "Send Now" directly to streamline this process. Although I suspect this won't work for my drafts because I'm using the Conversations addon

Great addon, but would it be possible to make it work for all outgoing messages, like calender meeting requests etc. as well?

Absolutely my favorite and moist-used addon. When I'm working off hours or in a different time zone from an addressee, and I need them to see an email when they're at their desk at the beginning of their day, this is what I use.
Many thanks to the two Jonathans, Kamens for the original addon and his excellent support and improvements over the years, and to Perry-Houts for work and maintenance of this latest and best version.
Don't forget Karthik Sivaram, who wrote the TB2 version of the add-on before I took it over to port it to TB3+ about nine years ago!

I use it for years and appreciate it but since thunderbird 78 I've got an error "Incompatibility between send it later and enigmail" and even if I chose "no encryption" and "signed" my message is encrypted if I want to "send it later".
So I can't "send later" signed message. Or I send later, or I sign (and encrypt)
Dispite that, I love your plug in and hope you will fix it soon !
This is a problem with the way Thunderbird handles encryption now that Enigmail is built into the client. There is no longer a mechanism for turning off "encrypt draft messages" as there used to be. Урррраааа, заработало на 78.3.2, больше всего жалел что обновил Thunderbird из-за не совместимости именно с этим дополнением.
Отличное дополнение, особенно если учесть, что аналога в магазине просто нет...

Installed 8.5.2 and the attachment reminder problem is fixed, both immediate send (through Send Later) and delayed send. Thanks! Bumping it back up to 5 stars.

Thank you very much for your effort to make this wonderful add-on usable under tb 78.
Main features are fully functional. However, I notice that, since the last version (replace moment with sugar), some dates (for example in the "send at" field) are not localized. That's why a star is missing.
Created Github issue at https://github.com/Extended-Thunder/send-later/issues/154. You can follow it there if you want to find out when this is fixed.

One of the most important add-ons. Pre-78 had some flaws, but still did a great job. Awaiting full compatibility with 78+. Thank you for that, guys!
Shame Mozilla Found. does not take into account the effort of thousands of the people, with each major version update making ca 80% of add-ons not working.

This add-on is well built and maintained. The developers have put considerable effort into ensuring it is compatible with the latest release of Thunderbird. It works exactly as described. Perfect for queueing up emails for sending at a particular time in the future. My decision to support the developers has been more than repaid.

New update for TB 78.4 works as planned. Thanks to the two Jonathan's for taking the initiative and diligently pursuing the update. I have my default set to a 1-minute delay before sending and can't believe how often I think of something just after pressing "send" and now can re-open and tweak my emails. This add-on is a godsend! I'm glad I contributed to Jonathan's Go Fund Me campaign - it was well worth it.
