Really nice and simple, the only BIG problem is since i use this program a had many issues in my hosting server like folders and files missing and the last one: advertising code injected on my PHP files.
I dont know if the programmer is responsable or maybe the code has some parts that my be improved but is a really crazy coincidence have that problems since i installed (i have an updated professional McAfee Antivirus, Firewall and all the etc security things so virus infection is not the reason).

Fire Ftp is an essential web designer tool. If you are a time concious web designer this improves work flow greatly.

Very nice look with one MAJOR problem. When you are uploading a file, it does not display the progress. It just displays 0% even after it is finished. Refreshing on the destination directory does not show the partial file either. Thanks, but I will stick with Filezilla for now.

Only four stars because of the new context menu entry. I looked all through the preferences and could not find a way to remove it.

One of the best addons I have in my 'collection'; it works so well that I even don't use a standalone FTP client.
This is an addon that every webmaster should have.

Great addon. Sometimes I don't feel like launching Filezilla, so I just use FireFTP instead. It doesn't have as many options as a stand alone client, but it's still a great application.

V. 1.0.9 is nice addon, but if the file is copied on sftp it has the time stamp in the filename. It means, the copied file is undeletable, unmovable, etc, because viewed file name isn't the same as file name on sftp. How can i workaround the problem? There isn't the problem for ftp sites.

Ein extra Button für FireFTP Ist nicht nötig da FireFTP dies schon mitbringt.

Einfach Rechtsklick auf eine leere Fläche (Lesezeichenbereich) vom Browser (bei install. FireFTP) und nach dem Logo von FireFTP suchen und per Maus anfassen und an gewünschter Position verschieben.

Fertig!

After updating this to 1.0..8, the damn thing hangs on file transfer to the server. 30 seconds for a 9k html file.

There doesn't seem to be a help section, nor a place to reinstall an earlier version. Bummer.

very nice and useful addon and I just made the switch from filezilla. I think it lacks one important feature: simultaneous file editing.
