Just downloaded the latest version and tried it on Google video to download a cilp. Didn't find anything whereas the previews version found the video and could download without problems.

It works, which is not something I can consistently say for the others I've tried. I have a number of minor issues with it that I will probably grow out of, but I am rather upset that it only has one icon size... large.

This little add-on is my best friend. If you are having trouble watching the movie files that you downloaded and you are trying to watch them in windows media player, whatever the extension of the file is (for example: .flv) you can google: "How do I watch .flv in windows media player?"
This shows you how to download a plug-in for windows media that allows you to watch all the files that wouldn't normally play in your windows media.

Yay! I loved this little utility before... so nice that it finally got an upgrade ^-^ Love that its bare-bones and doesn't drag my comp down with unnecessary graphics or menus. Now quit whining about it not working and download it!

here is a version that should work up to ff4. I have not changed anything except the install.rdf file that tells firefox what versions it will work with. So, for anyone who needs unplug for ff3 here it is!

The patched version at http://lummox.wz.cz/misc/unplug.html does work with FF 3.0.3 . After Firefox updates and restarts, it will tell you that Unplug is not compatible with this version. Uninstall UnPlug from the Tools - Add-ons menu. Reinstall UnPlug from the lummox.wz.cz URL and it works fine.

This tool is valuable for many people, including myself. It has rock solid performance with noticeably better results than most add-ons, and has the simplest interface of any Mozilla video download tool I've seen. Plus, it's compatible with DownThemAll. I'd give five stars, but it's not compatible with Firefox 3.
Please, h2g2bob, we need an updated version!
