It's a shaky solution (basically using the web interface in the background (Active Sync and Microsoft Graph is available but declared "experimental")) but its devs really walk the talk, including translating Thunderbirds IMAP keyword based tags to Outlook's categories. When it breaks from time to time inevitably due to changes on Microsoft's side, the developers are quick with a fix (less than 24 hours last time).
