GREAT GREAT addon. But i found a bug. If its in a tab and you click and drag that tab out, which creates a new window, it disconnects you from the server, it like refreshes the whole thing and you have to reconnect manually.

An excellent system for transferring files in a mixed Linux Windows home network. Better than Samba for Linux to Linux, especially as there's no server required. Thanks.

Useful, convenient, simple, clean. I think I can now uninstall my other FTP standalone freeware. :-) This one does the job for me. And if I need to do any extras I'll just log onto my webhosting and work from their control panel. Thanks for making FireFTP :-)

Thank you SAM, you help me a lot. I've to wait too long for FireFTP to work with FF4. The only problem was the incompability with FastestFox. I don't want to use another FTP Software because I have already save a lot of FTP Acc on this one. I'm so happy that it's working again.

Im using it for my 2 esides, its easy to chance the connection, ands its easy to understand to people thats not so much into ftp ;)

Although there are many FTP programs out there, it is quite useful to have an extension built into your browser. You can view your website and not have to leave Firefox to edit it. I have used FireFTP for many years and love it!

Just to let people know, the add-on "FastestFox" currently seems to be incompatible with FireFTP, causing FireFTP not to work for me in FF4. Disabling FastestFox solves the problem.

since upgrading to FF4 some of my existing accounts worked, but when I attempt to connect to one of them it brings up a message box;"230-Welcome to WeDoHosting.com."and the login box opens. submitting just restarts the same process. would be great if you had a fix for this as I love the add-on (using v1.99.3). Thanks.

I was really happy with FireFTP on FF3xx but now with the Version 4 I have problems. I can install the add on and it works but the next time i start the browser the add on is gone. I need to re-install each time!

Very useful this add on. It's perfect now after the conflicts elimination.
Is there is kind of future "FireFTP" for HTML sites in your mind?
With FireFTP is easy to download a file, just drag the file to the folder you want.

I love this addon! I have been using it for a while, but my host has recently requested that we start using 'Explicit FTP over TLS'. I can get connected just fine in FileZilla, but none of the secure settings in FireFTP work for me. Is this feature not supported, or am I missing something?

I do love this extension, and made a donation a year ago. But files are getting bigger and bigger and I started hitting the
4 GB file limit which seems to be a FF limitation.
I am running Arch Linux 32 bits with FF4. Would Linux x64 with FF 64 bits version solve this problem ?

no encuentro las palabras para describir esta herramienta tan sencilla de usar y que te ayuda 100% al contacto con el servidor, despues de años de vivir atado a ftps, que no cubrian las necesidades,fireftp lo cubre todo,,gracias por ello, saludos
