Equalizer Organiser turns Thunderbird into an evidence workspace for anyone preparing for an employment tribunal, a grievance, a disciplinary or a regulatory matter: people representing themselves, advisers, HR teams and investigators.
Stop scrolling through thousands of emails. Load only what matters, find the key messages, build a clear chronology, and check every item forensically.
WHAT IT DOES
1. Load emails by scope
Load a folder, a folder and its subfolders, one or more labels, or a whole account, once. Every tool then works on that set. Nothing in your mailbox is moved, copied or changed.
2. Find and review
Search with ready-made employment presets (grievance, sickness, dismissal and more) or your own terms. Tag emails as key evidence, relevant or "without prejudice", add notes, and spot duplicates.
3. Timeline and bundle
Add emails and documents to a timeline in one click, colour-coded and linked to your claims. Put documents in a bundle with sections and tab numbers, print the index or the full bundle (Print → Save as PDF), or export the original files with checksums.
4. Forensic checks
Read full headers and the Received chain, see the SPF, DKIM and DMARC results recorded by the receiving server, calculate SHA-256 hashes, and inspect Word, PDF and image metadata (including PDF revisions). Inconsistencies are flagged for you to check. Every acquisition and export is recorded in a hash-chained custody log.

Optional ExifTool helper (native messaging): If you choose to install the separate ExifTool helper and switch it on in Settings, the add-on sends the file you are analysing (its contents and file name) to that helper program on your own computer, and receives back the file's metadata. Nothing is sent over the internet. The permission is only requested if you switch this option on.
