Nice tool to get TB to act like Outlook. It would be great (and get 5 stars) if you could assign it to email accounts. One needs this only for corporate emails. Everybody else is able to deal with standards. This way it is a pain to switch back and forth depending on the account.

However, I'm not sure, asking for feature request with reducing the no of stars is the best approach. Thanks again.
Also, RWH add-on is my personal interest and fulfilling my own needs. Feel free to create a feature request here https://github.com/jeevatkm/ReplyWithHeaderMozilla/issues. Will try it, however currently no commitment.

This is a great extension to get outlook style headers on TB. I have a question though. Does this work with the latest beta version of the Thunderbird. I couldn't get the Addon options menu to see after installing the beta. Please can anyone confirm.

It will not work with the latest version of TB beta, basically, it won't work with WebExtension TB. RWH needs to rewritten as WebExtension.
Regarding Addon options menu, there is a bug in mac os https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1611349

I'm happy the extension works again. The Outlook style header looks much better and Thunderbird should have this by default.

This Add-on is absolutely necessary to send professional email. It was working fine till now, untill Thunderbird updated itself to version 68.4.1, after which this update is not working. Please provide the updated version or some workaround to make it work. Or how do i go back to previous version of Thunderbird???

I just tested the Beta-Version with TB 68.3.1 and it works fine!

hi there! i have been using this Add-on without a problem until recently, but it is broken since after i've updated Thunderbird 68.2.1. it would be greatly appreciated if you could update this Add-on.

Of coarse, we know just since TB 68 release the plug-in API will change. There haven't be any information in advanced. None at all! There was no beta and there was no time to adapt plug-ins before TB68 release.
Now it's 2 months since and still not ready?

This addon works flawless, thanks to the developer. In regards to the issue that TB drops known sender's address and displays only the name (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1259580), I wonder if this addon could provide another yet minimalist feature--force TB to always show sender's address. That's all. I guess that's also many others' interest. For me at least, having outlook like header is not a primary appeal. Is that possible? Thanks again.

Like the other reviewer, came here from SmartTemplate4. Haven't used it for long, but works great, and no configuration needed out of the box.

Coming from SmartTemplate4 which has become a paid-only addon, this does exactly what I wanted by replacing the ugly default reply style with an office reply style and it does this out of the box.

Fixed an issue I have with the old version (2.0) I couldn't update the Thunderbird program in OSX because the addon wasn't able to work properly.
Jeeva took the time and patience to fix the problem and now it rocks! now my Thunderbird is up to date and the add on 2.1.0 working properly.

Brilliant extension, fixes several long-standing annoyances with Thunderbird! In the year 2019, this functionality really should be built in to Thunderbird by default. Thanks for your work on this, I owe you a beer! :-)
