I'm a weatherbug, and I LOVE this add-on! I've used it for a couple of years now (at least!), and I've never ever had one problem with it. I love the customization features the most. Thank you, Mr. Sarna!

I love the functionality, really I do! However with FF3.5 Forecastbar Enhanced (v0.9.6) is a MAJOR PERFORMANCE PROBLEM to the point where FF becomes utterly unusable. Unfortunately I have had to disable this add-on. So sad.

I used Forecastfox originally. Once I found this, I never went back. I love the option for animated and combo radars, and otherwise, it just works great. I've had no problems ever setting it up, and I recommend it to anyone (even in real life). Great to be able to easily check the weather before you have time to go outside, and without some trash being added to my startup within my OS.

RedDwarf has no idea what he's talking about. Since this extension is an enhanced version of Forecast Fox (one I've used for YEARS) then I can say with authority that it's used Accuweather for a VERY long time. Yes, for a short while they used weather.com, but weather.com made it difficult and limited the use of their site. Not very friendly at all.

So... RedDwarf be sure to research something before you post. It's been at least 3 years since Forecastfox used weather.com.

Why is this extension now using AccuWeather?

I am sure this extension was using Weather.com when I last used it. The weather information it used was different to the regular forecastfox.

That's the worst thing about this now.

This is one of my vital add-ons I use with Firefox. I love the ability to immediately see the animated Weather Radar. I've tried other weather add-ons but for some reason I always come back to this one.

My favorite add-on ever. Had it for over a year and always loved it. Perfect here in south Florida too. Keep the excellent work up guys!!

It's always the FIRST add-on I check for compatibility when I install a new release of Firefox. Even Minefield. Gotta have it.
It beats out all other weather tools (and believe me, I have bunches) on both Windoze and MacOSX, including the radar, the pop-up hints on the status bar, and the compact and telling icons on the status bar.

This version has been out for almost a year, but I still think this is the best add-on to get weather information. I really like the fact that I can customize it extensively. I wish it can automatically receive weather information whenever update is available on AccuWeather.com, but it, at least, lets me change the update frequency.

Having the ability to use the animated combo radar is much better than just looking at a still image. The combo combines the satellite image and overlays it with the radar image and then you have the option to have it animated!

It claims to support Seamonkey but when I try to install it in SeaMonkey/1.1.15 the Forcastbar cancels the installation.

Love the improved doppler over Forecastfox! Still works great for me and I hope it gets maintained. Best weather addon available.

I see that many are having problems installing the Newest Version. I have never got it to Install.
There are many plug-ins, add-ons that The new version don't Install.
The version of Forecastbar Enhanced March '08 always Installs. There is Always a warning about Old Versions. No time to explain other that to say If the work Use Them. If SeaMonkey will not install any of add-on,plug-in, There Is A Good Reason.
Not installing does not mean the writer did something wrong. Many are written by Companies and are , well do your research.
This should be in the description: To Code Is Your ZIP Code, Its that simple.

I was using Forecastfox but after u/g to SM 1.1.14 Forecastbar cancelled its installation half way through.
I really liked the old ForecastFox and I wish that I could get it back because at this point Forecastbar is totally useless. Sorry...........
