Wanderlustには本体の設定で行えていたことなのですが、Thunderbirdでは設定がなく困っていました。このアドオンを使用することで、今までと同じ事ができそうです。できればThunderbird本体の設定で行えるといいと思います。

"アホ雷太" ＜taro@example.com＞などと登録しておけば
アドレス帳を探すのが楽になるんですが、さすがにそのまま
送信されては困ります。

会社名や役職なども登録して一目でわかるようにしたいのですがそれも、そのまま送られると困る。
というのも、長すぎるので適当に短縮しているから。

address部分だけ、それも送信時に限定して抽出してくれるアドオンは、まさに探しているものでした。

3.x系にも対応お願いします。
だれでもダウンロードできるように一般公開を望みます。



bugの有無をチェックしずらいのが難点なんでしょうか。
送信済みトレイの目視と
Bccに自分のアドレスを入れヘッダーを見てチェックしています。

Very useful.
Now, I don't need to worry about offending the recipients by using wrong (possibly mistyped in the address book) names in the To/Cc fields.

Very usefule extension.
I changed from "Address Cleaner" to this.
That why I changed is this extension enables to confirm address until sending mails.
In addition, this extension is compatible with my favorite themes by Aaron Spuler (http://www.spuler.us/).
