Pretty useless as a 1/4 passwords fail to import correctly.

This plugin is great on Firefox, but it installs only on Firefox and Thunderbird only.
It should be removed from Seamonkey addons.

To fix the following two issues with Firefox 3.x, see the following post :
(1) An error when importing some passwords: Can't add a login with both a httpRealm and formSubmitURL"
(2) Multiple entries for the same passwords when importing duplicate of an existing entry.

Nice idea, but i wish you wouldn't claim it works with Firefox 3, because it doesn't, and it says so. I had to reload FF2 to export passwords.

Works great on FF2. Locks up on FF3. I hope he fixes this because there seems to be no other way to export/import passwords to another FF3 installation.

Disregard my "Love It' post.
This program can't import passwords, therefor it's worthless, and will leave many people frozen.

It would be nice if you could add an encryption key function, so it would encrypt differently for each user.

An extremely useful and easy to install tool for those who need their passwords in different locations.

Pros:
Excellent Addon, Ranks up with the best addons. Encryption could be more secure.
Cons:
Could be more secure encryption.

Used to love this, but found a few bugs going from FF2 to FF3. I know i know, don't report bugs here, but I will contact the developer also, this is just for users. If you keep getting can not import, XML not valid errors, check to make sure none of your passwords contain < or >. The XML importer is not smart enough to know to ignore them if they are inside quotes
still, love the add-on its saved my butt numerous times. And I actually love that you can save passowrds without encrypting them. I keep that shit on a thumb drive in my pocket, thats better than any algorithm I have seen yet

Very useful extension, but the "encryption" is just binary base64 encoding... just XOR with a master password for transport, it would be much much more secure.

I found this while i search for a password tool which allow me to search in saved domain/passwords. Almost do what i would like :/
Check this Addot too for GoogleMail users:
http://www.google.com/tools/firefox/browsersync/
This will save all your passwords and bookmarks in your Gmail account. and you could retrive it automaticaly, or could syncronise paswords and bookmarkw between computers.

A good idea, the implementation needs some work. It should export/import all of one's passwords, as well as the sites that should be ignored in one data file.
I would be sure to encrypted the exported file using GPG on top of whatever encryption it uses internally.
Would I be able to export the file and then import it intact on another profile without supplying the same master password? If so, that is definitely problematic.
