Great addon! Got a bit confused by the title - thought it didn't handle the pasting. I'm glad I installed and found out.

Maybe you should add an option to remove icon from the statusbar and don't autocopy in the searchbox. Really annoying when you're trying to replace the text in the box and you copy THAT text to the clipboard. Ah well, guess I'll just install the addon to clear the searchbox then.

Umm I don't know what to tell the last 2 people who left replys other then make sure FF is updated, because for me this plug workes perfectly.

One awesome add-on and kudos to Michael Lidman & Company

Great add-on I've been holding off on Firefox 3.5 until this app got updated. Yes it does copy everything you hilight, it's supposed to!

Doesn't work with Portuguese version. And the Portuguese version is actually the Brazilian dialect.

This is a wonderful add-on. I write a newsletter and blog that consist of condensed versions of numerous sites that carry stories related to real estate. Until AutoCopy came along, the New York Times sent me to another site that, therefore, took substantial extra time, limited the amount I could copy and turned everything into bold red, requiring additional steps. Now, the process is a one-step breeze. Thanks!

Well. It does not work in address bar and there is no way to replace highlighted text. It copies everything you highlight. Not so good for me.

Can't live without it!
I just wonder why the 'check version' function in FF never found any newer version after (I believe) 0.9.1.
I was stuck on that version and when upgrading to FF3.5 AutoCopy didn't work anymore. All other AddOns were correctly reporting newer versions (if any) but not this one. I actually came here to look for an alternative.

I would like an option that allows me to disable autocopy outside of main content panel - i.e. so that it does not operate in find bar, search bar, url bar, etc

Interestingly it does not operate in a Quicknotes note - which is exactly the way I want it.
