I had several questions and luckily John found a solution within a few days :-)
furthermore I love the quicktext site on github. the wiki section is great

Super AddOn. Mir fehlt nur noch die Möglichkeit Gruppen und Vorlagen übergreifend in verschiedenen Thunderbirdprofilen verwenden zu können

I think it would be much more easy just to enable the built in mac function!!
This Add-on is way too complicated and I can't see a reason to do this job twice! Hello, it's 2021!!!

It's clear that this extension can do a lot to save time, but it's too complicated without any online help. I want to atuomatically add the date to an email template. Is this possible with QuickText?

Much-needed extension for the latest version of TB. The extension I previously used for this purpose wasn't updated for the new TB extension format. This allowed me to stay updated with TB's latest version. Provides quick and easy insertion of commonly-used text snippets and more. I only use it for it's most basic features, but it works well in that regard.

I love this add-on. Unfortunately, the latest version has an unwanted behaviour on Thunderbird 78.5, possibly a bug: after inserting a quick text, hitting the Enter key no longer starts a new line but inserts the same quick text again instead. This considerably impairs productivity.

I installed this add-on 2 days ago and I love it! I haven't used all the options yet, not even sure I all need it, but so far I am a happy camper. Saves me a lot of time. Thanks so much!

いつも便利に使わせてもらっています。英語のレビューばかりなので、日本語もあった方がいいかと思い、いつも使わせてもらっている恩返しに書かせて頂きます。先日、サンダーバードのバージョンが78.4になった際、それまで使用していた　古いQuicktext のＶｅｒ.2.12　が使えなくなりました。（コンテキストで表示がされなくなりました。）最新のＶｅｒ.3.3に交換して同じく出ませんでした。困っていたところ、一つ前のＶｅｒ.3.2に入れなおすと無事に使えるようになり、助かりました。ちなみにアドオンの管理で、自動更新を規定、またはオンにしていると、すぐに3.3になってしまうので、オフにしておく必要があります。これからも開発を宜しくお願いいたします。いつも素晴らしい機能を使わせてもらって心からお礼申し上げます。

Can confirm that reinstall don't seem to fix the menu context issue. Installing v. 3.2 does tho. For those who still want to use 3.3, I sugest you setup keyboard shortcuts for the models, works fine that way.

Great add-on. Unfortunately the last update broke it. Uninstall/reinstall and restart does not fix the issue. Same issue as Grzegorz Podgórski. No messages visible to insert on right-click within email. They are all visible in the main add-on "manage add-on" page. Gone back to 3.2 which fixes it. WARNING - If you uninstall/reinstall another version be sure to export all templates to .xml first or they get wiped! For info I am using TB 78.4.0 (64-bit)

Indispensable !
Very powerful for either signatures or template for repetitives emails


BUT it bugs the panel doesnt allow to edit the signatures
I found a solution though I m not sure what it is around check and uncheck option boxes
But It works back again !! ;-)
