the developer was very responsive to my observations,
the first issue is in fact resolved with the release identified;
i raise my rating due to the above and the fact that the developer is willing to consider the suggestion made;
i look forward to experimenting with the other features.
now if mozilla could just get a handle on the page break issue

Just what I was looking for..... But would like to see a new feature in the next version. Where
we print a message without conversation. i.e. only a copy of the message received or sent should be printed instead of the whole conversation. This would be really helpful. Of course you can achieve this in the current version by selecting the text you want to print but an automatic version would be much better.

If I've understood well, you're talking about a bug/feature of new versions of TB. See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=680446
Try to put the preference mail.operate_on_msgs_in_collapsed_threads at false, it should solve.
In future versions, I could put this preference in PrintingTools GUI, but I don't know what behaviour TB developers have choosen for future.

howdy y'all,

really handy addon for those who print from inside tbird. especially useful is being able to print the date on msgs from today instead of showing only the time. that will get fixed eventually, but this addon does it NOW. [*grin*]
