Hello Author. Please fix little bug in my new FF 51.0.1 (32-bit) I have to toggle private tab (PT) twice to change tab (T) to private. Also to do T need toggle twice, sometimes more than two. Thanx

It's nice to make a private tab, but I always have another tab open and playing streaming audio. When I close the private tab, it stops the audio stream, and I have to refresh that tab. What a hassle.

But all of the private tabs share the same session and the same cookie jar. Therefore, you can't connect from two different private tabs to the same website twice using different login credentials.

This is depends on Firefox implementation of private browsing: built-in private windows also share the same cookies and other things.
Also you can try Multifox: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/multifox/

Works well, I would like to see a clear graphical reminder (like Firefox's purple icon) when in a new private tab, otherwise the only way to know that you are private is by reading 'private browsing' at the very top of the browser.

After installing it, I don't have to switch between windows anymore only to be in private or normal mode. Everything is in one window and it saves desktop space.

A Click "new private tab" feature is perfect. Use Fx "Open a new private browsing window" icon in addon bar for a new window. Makes a near perfect private browser access world. Thanks!

Can't seem to update my older review to let's add a couple of points here:

+ The ability to toggle a tab between private and regular is great!

+ Quick response from the developer fixing the missing favicons bug.

- Still wishing pinned private tabs would remain across sessions and open with their initial URL.

What I really want is for some domains to default to private mode such that one needs to do something for it to be otherwise. If a user is visiting one of these domains and clicks a link, it should also be in private mode even if it isn't pointing at the same domain. ...unless the user right clicks on the link and selects normal mode or something. This should be global. It shouldn't matter where or how one enters the URL. As it is, the user could goof up and enter it by some other means and wind up not in private mode. It needs to be Grandpa proof. Grandpa won't admit he goes to certain sites but as he's fond of saying, "I'm old, not dead." ;-)
