Is there somewhere to subscribe to get notification when you found a working solution for getting this very useful add-on working again, after FF57 is released?

I use Firefox Nightly and I sorely miss this add-on since support for it was dropped from Firefox. Waiting for the day this add-on is available again, it is a must-have feature.

Unfortunately, Firefox 57 is missing something necessary for Saved Password Editor to function. Therefore, it will not be available for Firefox 57. However, some Mozilla developers have been working on the problem, so I still have hope for future versions of Firefox.

For applications other than Firefox, there is now Classic Password Editor. If you use Thunderbird, SeaMonkey, etc., I highly recommend you uninstall Saved Password Editor, and install Classic Password Editor.

It does its job well and its simple and intuitive enough to let me do what i need with my passwords and go back to my day. I will be counting the days until this returns post firefox 57, because this is an awesome addon

This addon is a lifesaver. Simply a 5 star addon.

Unfortunately it appears that Mozilla have not created the APIs needed to support this addon with Firefox 57 and later.

Workaround is to change to using the ESR channel that will allow this addon to be used until late June 2018. Hopefully by then one can move back to the main Firefox channel when the required API etc is provided

It is "must be" addon for sites which don't offer the possibility to save passwords at all (some more secured sites with https protocol - firefox is not asking to remember or not password).
No backup for passwords but it is still worth of 5 stars.

I have used this add on for a few years now and have found it very very helpful. I love the ease of use. It keeps the necessary information for a site and allows you to easily search and edit as needed. I prefer it to other password savers for it's easy accessibility. My only caveat is a backup/export feature.

I hate mother nanny Firefox who forces updates whether you want or not and then disables add-ins whether you want or not.

Have enjoyed the ease of use and minimal footprint. Gets me out of the jam of user and password fiascos in a breeze. Easy to edit passwords and such. REALLY hope this also gets compatible with ff 57! Thank you

Wonderfull App !
Used for years, only issue is that icon will disappear from menu bar from time to time, and especially when updating firefox.
Only way to get it back is to install over again...
Now just see it's obsolete and there is a plan to migrate to new API... let's see what will happen. :D

good job anyway !!!
