I agree, it would be a great add-on if it were more reliable. I took the time and added three pages with thumbnails and everything, FF crashed and I lost 'em all.

very good addon !
I give 4 stars because I have a little issue : when I add some site to speeddial and if firefox crach the added site will no longer stay in speeddial ! can we have an option to save new stats of speeddial immediatly after adding ?

Started out as a great plugin! I've been using this for a few months now, and it was indispensable. Unfortunately, over time, my thumbnails are disappearing one by one. I'm down to 1 of 8, and thumbnails from adding entirely different sites doesn't even work anymore. Maybe an update will fix the issue...

- I can sync speed dial in any computer
- I can access speed dial everywhere when i go to my personal account speed dial website.
then it would be perfect! I am willing to pay with it. Again, thanks to speed dial!

Es un complemento muy útil y de configuración fácil e intuitiva.Lo he puesto como mi pagina de inicio en el PC de casa, aunque sólo echo de menos que, una vez "customizado", no se pueda exportar al resto de los ordenadores con los que suelo trabajar.

This is a pretty good, basic speed dial add-on. It has more features than Fast Dial but still doesn't give you a fully customizable experience. For that I'd give it 3.5 stars for being functional but not particularly innovative.
The biggest problem is that you have one option. You have a grid of X by Y thumbnails but you cannot have thumbnails of varying size on the same tab. Nor can you have anything besides a basic thumbnail / user defined image of a page.
I think more customization is important. I think some sites should be viewed as thumbnails updated every X hours but some should just be fav icons or titles. I think different sized entities should exist under the same tab and you should be able to sort at will and then "snap to grid".
I imagine a home page where the upper left quadrant has 4 thumbnails of frequently updated pages I visit each updating the URL every 10 minutes. On the right hand 10% of the page is a line of fav icons running from top to bottom grouped under "titles" splitting up my "event calendars" from my "daily news reads" to my social networking". The content is not updated dynamically but it's a list I create of places I go indicated to me by a fav icon and title which take up little space. You'd have the ability to choose different sizes for any of these items and then Lock them in place. This would allow any user to create a very dynamic--and personal--home page rather than just a rectangular grid.
If you're looking for a basic Opera style speed dial this more than delivers. If you're looking for something more to give you a customizable and dynamic home page this doesn't deliver as well as it could.

LOVE Speed Dial. Not as pretty as FoxTab, but way more functional and not buggy. Tab Mix Plus goes great with this add-on.
By the way WH3jH4e4nX, to remove the icon from the tool bar go to Speed Dial preferences, at the bottom click where it says actions and a menu will open up. From there select First Time Configuration and you will be able to uncheck Add Speed Dial Button to Toolbar.

Love it.
Small bug report: when I create a new tab that defaults to the speed dial screen, then I tear the tab out into a new window, then click one of the pictures on my speed dial window, it will load the page in a random tab on the old window instead of in the new window tab.

I'd like to be able to open new tabs in the background by default. But can't do it. Or at least can't figure out how to. o/w love the app.
这个评论是针对附加组件的一个早期版本的（0.9.5）。This can be configured in the Speed Dial settings panel ("Controls" tab); you can choose between current tab, new tab, new tab in background (obviously your choice), or new window. You probably want to modify the "Mouse click action" > "Regular" > "Middle click".
