I've been trying to get access to my new company's Exchange server 2010 for three hours and almost gave up. For final try, I searched and tried his add-on and it works like a charm. Even the address book is linked automatically so no need to setup and test LDAP. Thanks Kent.

My company switched to an exchange service about two months ago and mandated that I use Outlook, a program I have never used. After two months of using Outlook I had had enough. I installed Exquilla four days ago and have been back on Thunderbird exclusively. The bulk of the work is done on this add-on. It is more than sufficient for my needs and I look forward to the enhanced development of this product. Thank you James!

This was an absolutely brilliand add-on for Thunderbird mail client. Once I had the right domain from our Admin, then voila, everything synced with our OWA setup and without IMAP enablement. Works like a charm now. Thanks James.

I have used Exquilla beta for several weeks and I love it. I use it for reading / sending HTML-format emails only (no calendaring) and it works like a charm. There are minor glitches - progress indicators could be better, and it consistently saves my sent mail to Exchange rather than a local "Sent" folder like I told it, but I can live with that. At least I don't have to use Outlook for anything but calendaring. FTR: I am using thunderbird on a single-CPU 32-bit Fedora 16 VirtualBox guest running on a multi-cpu Win 7 - 64 bit host.

I love Thunderbird and was extremely excited about finding ExQuilla as a way to use the Microsoft Exchange Server mandated by my employer and keep my Thunderbird. I want to congratulate the developer for this add-on. About 4 months and 2 versions (Vs 16, 17 and 18) later, I am ready to give up on both Exquilla and Thunderbird. I have a MacBook Pro and run Mac OS 10.7.5. For me, the user experience with ExQuilla has been disappointing: The add-on causes multiple problems with Thunderbird. The add-on suddenly disappears from the Tool menu only to reappear after restart. Messages suddenly can no longer be saved or sent, the search window flickers and search results are not displayed, automatic deposit of sent messages in the local "Sent" folder, and automatic deposit of drafts in the local "Drafts" folder does not work reliably and the entire application tends to crash at least once daily for no apparent reason.
I understand that Kent James still advertises this version as "Beta" and I agree that it is very "beta" indeed. My problem is that I would have been willing to pay $100 for a well functioning add-on, but I am running out of time and out of patience - I am getting used to the idea of abandoning Thunderbird and reluctantly moving on to Outlook...... the only thing worse than having no software, is having buggy software....

It sends and receives. I have been waiting my whole like for this. Thank you so much and I hope it takes off and becomes very popular. Great setup interface as well.

At last there's a plugin which connects Thunderbird to MS Exchange servers. Now I can read/write emails from my Ubuntu, before I was forced to use OWA webapp for this. Plugin is not perfect for now, but it will eventually by (I hope so)

great addon. work with office365.
However, I cannot have "unified folder" after installing this addon, and "Global address book" is not yet support.

this is a great addon for people who have OWA/exchange account but dont wanna use outlook. ive been trying exquilla for a week and found it great. however, i expect exquilla can help thunderbird to retrieve particular type of attachment. rock on kent james :D btw, the latest version is 13.0 and you could get it here https://exquilla.zendesk.com/entries/21300168-version-13-0-released

It Really WORKKKSSS !! Finally an Exchange Server plugin for Thunderbird. As much as I hated Microsoft Outlook, but I was forced to use it so I can view my E-mails of the Company. I was very disappointed that I couldn't find exchange server support in an E-mail Client as wonderful as Thunderbird. Now it's all Resolved. I must say "This is the most important plugin for this program in parallel with Lightning". R Kent James; I owe u Big time.
So i tried installing v11.2 first, but it didn't work; the auto detect function shows status" In Process" but doesn't return any results, although you can press the finish button and the Account will be created, but it keeps returning "Invalid Server" at the status Bar.
I De-Installed this version and installed v11.0 and this time the auto detect function worked and my E-mail account was connected with the server.
I have a problem with E-mails containing Attachments though. can only reveal the attachments of an E-mail msg if I opened it using the classic E-mail viewer; that means I have to Right-click the msg and select view using classic reader.
As for the Calender sync and function, haven't tried that yet. Must install the extra calendar sync plugin first.
