I notice that when i upgraded to Firefox 3.5 this version of Gmail Manager (v0.5.7.2) consistently freezes this version of firefox for about 10-15 secs when you attempt to close a popup window. I have not found a workaround to this issue yet except for downgrading back to an earlier version of Firefox.
Hope this BUG is fixed soon.

It's the perfect extension for Gmail.
It does have a glitch with Gmail Offline and HTTPS enabled.
A workaround for Gmail Manager showing 0 unread messages when Gmail Offline is enabled is available at http://blog.andreineculau.com/2009/07/fix-for-gmail-manager-0-5-7-2/
I would have given it 4.5 if possible.

افزوردنی مناسبی به کمک این افزودنی (Gmail Manager ) میتونی بدون اینکه به گوگل مراجعه کنی یک راه میانبری زده باشی به Gmail خودت و تو وقتت هم صرفه جویی میکنی ویژگی که خیلی داره نمونه بارزش اینکه لازم نیست هر چند دقیقه به گوگل مراجعه کنی و بخوای Gmail رو چک کنی هر موقعه و هر زمان که برات نامه الکترونیکی بیادش بهت خبر میده میتونی پسورد و یوزرن رو توش save شده و آماده نگه داری لازم نیست هر موقع که بخواهی به Gmail رجوع کنی پسورد بزنی نگران نباش امنیت ش بالا هست باخیال راحت نصبش کن و از استفاده از این افزودنی ( Gmail Manager ) لذت ببر

can it work in the same opened window?
when i click the gmail icon in status bar it opens gmail in another opened window. it would be great if open in a new tab but in the active window... did i make my self clear?

Pros: Excellent! Really helps staying connected with Gmail. serves me perfectly!
Cons: haven't encountered any (yet? hopefully not)
Other thoughts: really great add-on! a must-have if you use both Gmail and firefox.

It's a very good and nice add-on, congratulations.
But you guys could make it compatible with the new firefox.

I love this extension ..
To make it work in ffx 3.5 just update the rdf maxversion yourself.
First quit ffx go to the active Firefox profiles folder and the file: extensions/{582195F5-92E7-40a0-A127-DB71295901D7}/install.rdf
and change the max version for firefox from 3.1b2 to 3.5 .. everything works fine with the bump for me ..

Works. Each function specified in the description was functional and it worked well with my browser with no noticeable bugs or problems. My main issue was that it was logging me out of my iGoogle account each time I closed down the browser and I had to log in each time. If you just have one account, Gmail Notifier works just as good and doesn't log you out.

I love this add-on, but am gutted that it doesn't work with 3.5 - please fix it, it's much better than Gmail Notifier, which I've had to resort to using since I started beta-testing 3.5!

great add-on and i have been using this for a long time. this is always on my list of add-ons
why hasnt there been any updates to it?
can some one tell us if they are going to support 3.5 or not?
3.5 is about to come out and not a peep from any one or any new updates
