*** Works great with one account and not all details AND ITS FAST ***, but because I use more google accounts and need more sync settings and more contact details (e.g. images) I switched to https://addons.mozilla.org/de/thunderbird/addon/gcontactsync/

I have two Gmail accounts in Thunderbird - but only one of them is synchronized. The other is always empty. I've searched through the extension preferences and could not find a possible reason so I believe this is a bug in the extension.

Hardly seems to work. Updates form both sides (Google and TB) don't reacht the other side of the ocean most of the time. Upredicatble behavior. Status bar reports 'XML-error'.
Potentially nice though, especially the option of choosing what to with Google Groups.

I had the same problem as another reviewer. My CPU spiked and bogged entire computer down until I disabled this extension. I'm using Mac 10.6.6 with latest version of Thunderbird.

Hello, I would love to see this ported to Seamonkey.
Seamonkey is the successor of the classic Mozilla, i.e. Browser plus Mailer plus a few Extras.
Seamonkey 2.1 (currently in beta) uses the latest engines (I am told) so maybe it will just work "out of the box" if you allow installation within Seamonkey.

Pretty much brought Thunderbird to a standstill - enormous CPU usage. After disabling the add-on, TB back to normal. Would not recommend.

For a while now I've seen Thunderbird working at the pace of molasses. So recently I turned off a bunch of add-ons to see if that helped. It did, so I began to turn them on one by one. TB worked fine until I turned on this extension, at which point the program started moving like mud. I don't know why.
