Recent changes to a popular social website forced too much information onto my page, most of which I didn't care to see. With this add-on, I was not only able to block the annoying tickers but also the pointless ads the site constantly generates! I don't even get bothered by the chat system that would mysteriously turn itself on from time to time. :) LOVE this add-on!

This companion add-on worked great until somewhere around version 2. Now, I can't figure out how to block elements because the shortcut and button menu is gone.

Works perfectly for me - not sure about the earlier comment regarding hotkeys, because all the hotkeys I've tried seem functional. This really is a *fantastic* add-on.
Edit: On a Mac, the shortcut to active this is cmd-shift-S.

I kind of figured this and its good to have it confirmed by you.
Actually I suspected this before I installed the add-on, but neither in this forum nor at Google did I find any suggestion that this ad-on is not for me (which it clearly isn't). I would not have installed it in the first place.

A good helper though, but I wonder why it's separate from the main Adblock Plus?. these both should be together in one package.

I thought Adblock Plus was the best add-on ever, but this helper makes it much more useful. Now I can hide annoying (i.e. large) headers on frequently visited websites to get the content on the screen without scrolling down.
