The pre-release seems to work fine on my T3.0.1 installation. This addon should be promoted to a default option in Thunderbird.

It worked for me in 3.0.1 on a Vista Home Premium 32 bit PC. I don't use the F4 key either so I have now moved to Thunderbird 3. Thanks for the tip misza2.

Go to the Homepage linked above. There is a beta available that is working fine for me on Vista. F4 doesn't work but I don't use it.

This extension would be great, but it's almost useless because of a MAJOR problem.
"Forward contact" (vcard) only sends the person's name and e-mail...
NO company name (if present)
NO address, city, province, postal code
NO phone #
NO fax #

Yes, for TB 3 would be NIIICE!

And another suggestion: I would like to choose, what happens, when I press Enter on a selected adress. (i.e. configure the shortcuts)
(I prefer to open the contact instead of writing a new email.)
