Works great, does what it says! Just makes Fx portable "lag" though, I know it does anyway but this more so. Great for HD installed Firefox but I will stick to FZ portable for my thumb drive apps.

Easy to install, easy to set up the details of the sites that you want to work with (and save them in a drop down menu for the next time), easy to upload. What's not to like? And... if you set your theme to Red Cat, the loading status bar at the bottom shows a tank full of pixellated goldfish swimming back and forth. Two Firefox add-ons working in perfect harmony!

I've used a couple of different FTP programs, but I keep coming back to FireFTP, for several reasons. The Firefox integration is a big plus, I can just click an ftp link, and I'm in the FTP client, no load time. Second, it works. Just plain works. Third, the open with editor is amazing. I use notepad for all my scripting, so I can just click the open with button, edit it, and click upload. And thats it, I don't have to do any more. Lastly, its free. It's not perfect, but it is by far the best FTP client out there.

As a bit of a techno-Luddite, I'm loathe to use WYSIWYG (or more aptly, WYSIWTF) editors for website maintenance, however I do love the luxury of on-the-server editing they provide, in lieu of downloadToDesktop-edit-save-upload-deleteFromDesktop, as has been my common practice for a while. With this little gem, I can go straight to the ftp site, click "open with", do my edits, and they go straight back to the server with no intermediate work! Bravo!

So easy to use, and it just works!!!! What a bonus that a free program actually works well and is easy to use!! Do yourself a favour and use this add on.....you won't be sorry!

I can't believe how easy and simple this was to use. I had been using Ipswitch WS-FTP and then SmartFTP. This is just as good and I don't have to open up any software. Everything is right in my browser. THANK YOU!

a really nice, easy to use ftp client for the browser. missing a few features i'd like but overall a great extension. i've recommended it to several of my friends that wouldn't be able to figure out a full featured ftp program.

please get this extension working with FF3!

FireFTP is a great FTP tool for maintaining websites. It maintains a list of sites that you can export to a file - I keep mine on my USB drive, so I can call up my sites where ever I am. It is fast and easy to use. Very logical and intuitive. It also has a compare feature and it sits right in FireFox. What more could you ask for in an FTP client?

I love this program. It provides all the functionality of a regular FTP program, but cleanly resides within one of my other favorite programs - Firefox. Keep up the good work!

Very convenient having ftp on hand in a new tab. I would like the facility to "overwrite only if file has changed" to save time.
