This add-on is going down the drain quickly. It used to be a great complement to Firefox, but now you can't see a preview when you hover over the link on the lower right, which in my opinion defeats the purpose of having this add-on in the first place.

Very nice app! I use it almost EVERY HOUR! :)
But since some days I'm experiencing a little problem. As bluepicaso said snippets aren't showed anymore! :( Before something similar happened and I discovered was Buzz's fault. I deactivated it and was all right. But now this issue appeared again! And Buzz is off...How can I solve it?? Thanks A LOT for your efforts!

Please change it back so that when I left click on an account (not logged in already) it logs in the account, and when I click on a logged in account it takes me to gmail! This new version sucks!!!!!

This extension started acting goofy the minute it got into the v0.6+ phase, and didn't start working again until I downgraded back to v0.5.7.5. So it's funny that, even though the version history says the latter is "compatible" with FF 3.6, it only gets that when you manually upgrade the maxversion number (LOL!)

Hating this downgrade of an upgrade? 0.5.7.5b2 works fine if you disable buzz. For the moment.

Remarkably bad 'update', todd. I'm a past contributor, a three year user, and looking for something to replace your formerly excellent product.

This is a great app when it works but it seems to periodically break when changes are made to the gmail system. Sometime toward the end of Feb/beginning of March the snippets stopped displaying. As a previous user noted if you switch all your accounts' default e-mail view to "basic html" (option at bottom of the screen) and you turn off buzz, Version .6 still currently works with Firefox 3.5.8. Good enough if you're not a chat or buzz user.

This was the oldest and favorite add-on I had been using, but the new version is utter crapware, gmail accounts won't open, snippets won't show. Why fix something that wasn't broken ?

Have been using gmail manager for a long time now.
Am used to seeing my accounts stack up in the taskbar taking little space.
In the new version though, I see my accounts spread out filling the whole taskbar.
I think both designs have their fans. I wonder if there can be an option in the preferences whereby the user can choose his display style.

Todd this is by far the best Gmail addon out there. Ignore the change-averse fools that don't like new things, the new UI is an improvement on the previous version.

This used to be the most useful and perfectly designed add-on for Firefox, and an absolutely critical part of my daily life. However, this new version is just horrible. I don't understand why everything has been changed to make it less intuitive and to require so many more steps to do simple actions. To the developer: Please, please, please revert to the old UI and functionality. Make it part of a pledge drive to raise money for development--we'll all gladly contribute more money to get back our old Gmail Manager!

it's stopped to view new mail snippets and stop to view from whom message comes and some intro text of mail ((((

Some snippets work and some don't... I have 13 accounts and it seems to be random. Last night one of the accounts was showing snippets while others weren't. Now that one is not showing snippets but another is.
I'm still giving this plugin 5 stars because I've been using it forever and you've always been quick to resolve these small issues (which I always assume is related to changes on Google's side).

Extention v0.6 has stopped working properly after Google changed something with Gmail. Still no word on whether it'll be updated.

This addon works very well.This is definitely the addon I searched for long time.
However, this occupies very vast space of my Toolbar.I think "@gmail.com" should be hide in order to make more space.

Snippets no longer work, just as fuzzyscorpio. I tried turning Buzz back on, and then off again, and still nothing. Hope you can fix this problem. Btw, it was working fine on Monday. Not sure what the difference is today.

I use Gmail in Russian locale.
But this extension shows me that labels as "abracadabra" - seems like bad work with unicode?
Can you fix this annoying bug?

point-6 with Firefox 3.6:
No positioning the manager where I want it. The drag-n-drop "feature" doesn't drop anywhere but the default location.
Doesn't switch to account with new email as it's enabled to do so.
Doesn't reset unread count after checking mail, as it's enabled to do so.
Gmail Manager has always been 5-star for me. Until this release. Maybe it's Google. Maybe it's the new interface. Or maybe it's just me.
Sometimes a good thing should be left alone.
