You no longer have you copy and paste a url into the address bar when it isn't a link. Works with Firefox 3 if you override version compatibility with MR Tech's Toolkit.

This is one of the best extensions, I used to have 'PTTL - Plain Text To Link' but it doesn't come close to this one.

This is an essential browsing tool which makes surfing thru different websites a lot easier.
IMHO the functionality of this extension should become part of the FF core.

This is one of the most useful addons I've used. It makes clicking on things like coded links in forums so much easier. I do hope it's made compatible with Firefox 3b1

I just posted this to help a user with the Snap Links extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4336); thought I'd post it here, as a review, to show how wonderful & useful I find this add-on! (These 2 extensions really do work nicely together, and on their own; I love it!)

"This add-on converts all text links into "clickable" format. Check the options for it before using it; links can be converted automatically on all pages, or can wait until you do it yourself (my own preference) via status bar icon or right-click menu.

Also VERY nice--and the option I use most--is the option to double-click text links to open them... no conversion required, Linkification knows!

So, try this add-on. It'll give you 2 steps for multi-link pages, but give you an incredible option to double-click text links as well... you'll love it.

(OMG... I should add I have NO connection to this add-ons coder... wow am I praising it LOL!!)"

Thanks so much for creating this! I just wish the hyperlink text would be underlined so that I know for sure what I emailed via yahoo mail actually had a clickable link instead of having to look at my sent mail to be sure.

Thank you very much for this very nice plugin!

Due to the emerging usage von SIP, standard SIP-URLs are also linkified. E.g. "sip:user@sipprovider.org" will be linkified to a user-authentification of user "sip" with PWD "user". Looking in the code wasn't really productive, since I don't know any JS at all ..

I find this especially helpful on blog comments where folks often don't know HTML and blog sites often don't auto linkify text.

Great product, works well sometimes. But I find that for the most part, only part of the link is linkified. (for instance something like http://www.domain.com/someotherstuff/somemorestuff might only be set to "http://www.domain" or any other part of the URL. It seems to randomly decide where the link ends, rather than going out to the actual end)

Overall, beautiful product, just work the kinks out and I'll definitely use it :D
