Other download add-ons are often confusing or require the user to buy a pro-version to get the same functionality that Flasgot offers out of the box.
The only gripes I have with this extension is that it's not compatible with FF57+ and that it's a little buggy with FF56. So therefore a 4/5 score instead of a perfect score.

Was a great extension but now it's having issues.. for instance when you right click 'Flashgot link' and other options don't work anymore :(
I emailed the developers before posting here but got no response.

It's been a really good add-on, I've used it a fair bit, and it's been pretty effective. But its days are over, it seems, since FF57 has killed it, and Google have outpaced it 'cuz it just doesn't work on tubes anymore. Shame.
Rating reflects current status, not its glory days.

Firefox without multiprocessing is very very slow, had to disable this fine add-on because of that. Please update!

This is useful for catching some akward to catch links, - thanks, - but it does appear to disable Firefox's ability to remember settings.
For example, with this addon installed you can tick the box to remember a setting, download location, automatic option, or default application choice as many times as you like, and Firefox will not remember it (plus, any such settings will be reset if you enable this addon for something and then disable it again) ...and, yes, this is definitely an issue with this addon and does not happen with this addon disabled (regardless of whether other addons are present and enabled or not).

FlashGot doesn't work with Firefox since I've updatet to Firefox 54.0. That's really a desaster because FlashGot is my number one reason to work with Firefox. Normally FlasGot is a five star addon. But not now. Until now Firefox was the best browser for download tasks. FlasGot pushed the download task out of the browser to the standalone download managers. Most other download tools use the integrated download manager. This increases the RAM usage of the browser and can lead to shutdowns. Until FlashGot might be updatet to Firefox 54.0 I have to work with 2 browsers. An older Firefox version for download tasks and Vivaldi for all other internet tasks.

Download many videos I need, incl youtube and so on. Just simple click on addon button and all variants to choose from the page. Great work.
