There are numerous comments that the extension doesn't work with the latest version of Thunderbird. However, this fixes it:

Go to Thunderbird>>Tools>>Options>>Advanced>>General>>Config Editor

Scroll down to extensions.tbsortfolders@xulforum.org.accounts

Right-click and select Reset

Repeat for extensions.tbsortfolders@xulforum.org.defaultaccount

Restart Thunderbird

TB 60.5.1 (32-bit), with 1.2.1, nothing shows in Sort Account tab. Had this problem for quite a while with previous versions of this add on.

Only solution I found is to get your hands on this xpi version
"manually_sort_folders-1.2.0pre2.xpi."

Then install it from file using the gear icon at the top of Add-on manager. Once installed turn auto updates off for this extension.

Je viens d'installer et de paramétrer (26/12/2018) cette extension sur ma version 60.3.3 (32 bits) de Thunderbird (sous Windows 7) et elle fonctionne parfaitement sur les comptes POP et IMAP !...
Je peux (ENFIN !) effectuer ce double tri manuel sur les dossiers de comptes mail ET sur leurs sous-dossiers, tout ceci en français parfait.
Simple à utiliser : MENU "Outils" puis => "Trier les dossiers manuellement".
Grand MERCI au développeur !...

Fonctionne parfaitement chez moi ( Thunderbird v60.2.1 sous Ubuntu 18.04 ).
Pour ceux chez qui ça ne marche pas il faut activer le menu du haut ( fichier/édition/affichage/etc .. ) et à partir du menu Outils du haut vous aurez l'option "Trier les dossiers manuellement".

Running Windows 10, TB 60.3.3. Add-on 1.2.0pre3. Folders can be sorted but no accounts shown to sort (mix of IMAP and POP3 in TB). Have re-installed TB to no effect. Can anyone help, or do I just wait and hope for an update that fixes it? Thank you.

Folder lists in the add-on were blank for me after Thunderbird 60.3.3 update. Installing 1.2.0pre3.xpi restored functionality completely.
