YES! Mihi placet! I never paid much attention to macrons, because spaces and punctuation is definitely all that's necessary that the Romans didn't use. Macrons can be helpful for learning, but aren't necessary after that. I'm just glad that I can put in whatever case, gender, number/voice, mood, tense, number, person I need without being called out on it. Of course, you have to distinguish in many cases from V and U, but that's no big deal. Est verendum.
