What this extension does is quite simple, but it is very useful. A great extension.

Unfortunately, it doesn't really seem to be under development anymore. It doesn't support FF3 yet and perhaps it won't. So, does anyone know of a similar extension that is still being updated?

Selected text is automatically copied on clipboard. Work the way I imagined. I would be good if Author updated this for firefox 3 but for people who need it badly just download Nightly Tester Tools. It works fine on Firefox 3 Beta.

One of those add-ons that you forget that you have in the beginning, but can't live without after a while.
Or maybe I'm just super lazy...

I really love this extension, and I miss it. Can it please be updated right away for 3.0b3? Let's not wait till Firefox 3 is finalized. I really want my Auto Copy back!

Thanks for the little wonderful add-on. It's one of my favorites. So tiny and so useful. Its multi-clipboard is GREAT!

Windows has sorely been lacking the ability to utilize clipboard data the way linux distros do. This tool saves wear and tear on my wrist and earns my ErgoFriendly stamp of approval!

I use auto copy at work,which works wonders and saves alot of time, but I use a MAC at home and just wanted to know if it is compatible? I was able to download it, but can\'t seem to copy anything. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

I had it working great!! Now i switched to Vista. The Add-on is installed but it won't copy anymore :-(

For me this is a "Must Have" add-ons. One of those things that you don't know how much it is used until you can no longer have it. I've been using it for so long it is difficult to browse without It.
Please update it for use with FF 2.0.0.7.

You select text and then it pastes on the same tab. But, when I select text (in my case, website address) on one tab, and try to past the website address on a new tab to the address bar, it does not get pasted.

It works exactly as it should. It even compliments the Copy Plain Text add-on! But I don't know what all the options are for. More documentation would make this add-on perfect!

Auto Copy is a great extension. Please update it for use in TB 2.0.

It may take a bit of getting used to, but this is a great add-on. Skip the right clicking and use this great tool. You're probably going to copy it anyway, so let this tool save you some mouse work. I love it, thanks!

Simple tool that brings a touch of UNIX/LINUX to your Firefox browser. Works great!

Until you use Auto Copy, you can't imagine how valuable it is. You just select any text and it is automatically copied so that pasting it somewhere else is effortless. I just wish that the author would update it to work with Thunderbird 2.0 because I really miss using it there.

I'm hoping that we can get an updated version that will work with Thunderbird 2.0. I use the add-on all the time! It's great!

Great little tool. The only reason I select text in a browser is to copy it and this saves a step.
