I love this theme. It helped me after I upgraded to Win 7 & all the arrows next to the folders got so small I could barely click on them.
This theme also has other graphics that make using TB that much easier to use.
I highly recommend it.
PLEASE upgrade the theme so I can upgrade my TB. It's telling me it's not compatible.

This has been my favorite theme for years. Please update so I can continue to enjoy it. Hopefully, my small contribution will help.

Silvermel the most beautiful skin. Please, please, please update! The default Thunderbird theme is horrible... Thank you very much! (Hungarian fan)

Silvermel ought to be adopted as the default theme in Thunderbird. It is far and away the best but unfortunately it doesn't seem to be compatible with V24 of Thunderbird. Please, please, please give us an update of Silvermel that's compatible with the latest version of Thunderbird.

Silvermel is also my preferred (and only) theme!I tried to install it into TB 24, but, even when I edit the install.rdf, Thundrbird rejects it. So I'm condemned to the ugly default theme. Please, upgrade Silvermel!

Why isn't this available for later versions of Firefox? I have FF 22.0+ on various PCs and now am unable to use this theme at all? And going to the support website is not helpful to simple "Yoosers" like me.

I'm not mad about the icons, but using Thunderbird without Silvermel is a harrowing experience. I absolutely hate the Chrome style combined Title-bar/Tool-bar/whatever of the default theme and generally the default theme sucks and hurts my eyes. With the Rise of The Tools extension Thunderbird is actually usable again. Thank you!

yep Deborah's fix works! (on version 22).. I'm using KDE and this looks great.

Your fix posted June 30, 2013 to use the Silvermel theme in FF 22 works. Normally, I use Silvermel or Charamel as my FF theme. I can exist quite well with Silvermel.

Thanks a lot for this very pleasant theme (as Charamel also) :-)
Just a remark about the compatibility with "Account Colors" which offers the possibility to have a the same color as the account one for identity when writing a new email ...but it doesn't appear with Silvermel.

Absolutely one of the best themes I've seen in years for Firefox. Everything else seems to be just disappointing, but not this one!
