Sorry, doesn't work on Firefox 12 (Kubuntu 12.04).

So this App only works for docs on line that you are currently viewing through a browser (including non-Chrome browsers)? If that's the case then my question is irrelevant and thanks Adon for clarifying this for me.

This is a great addon except that, it would be great if you could have an option to make it a default viewer. Just one click on the link and it automatically opens up.

Using adobe reader to view .pdf files uses too much CPU usuage but this add-on does the job inside firefox so is convenient and helps CPU usuage a lot!
:):):):):)
And it can even do more!
HATS OFF!

It's very useful, especially when using Firefox on a Mac. It would be nice if there was an option to automatically use "embedded mode" in the settings - I currently have to add "&embedded=true" to the end of the url to activate it.

I have been looking for a good solution for viewing PDFs in Firefox for a while. I like this. I just wish the preference pane for this add-on had a tab for make opening supported files with Google Docs Viewer the default action by selecting toggle boxes by each file format which is supported. It would make this extra awesome.

Useful. Thanks. Suggestions for improvement: 1. Sometimes a pdf is linked to by java and will not open. 2. Option to have pdf or other document open with GoogleDocs by default.

I like this add-on.
When can we expect a version that is compatible with Firefox 5.0 beta channel?

It is the best one among the similar extensions. I love it very much!

It does not work. It gives the menu and then pops up with a warning and then opens a google doc page with a blank document.

I like this add-on, and I think it is very useful. However, it would be nice to be able to set this as the default action for certain file types. I want to be able to view .pdf files with this add-on by default and have to use the context menu to save the file or use a local viewer.

Thanks for this useful addon.Could you replace the right-click context menu with Google docs 's favicon?

This is a great addon, but I'd like if I could view files on lef-click, rather than going into the context menu.

I wanted to minimize the amount of installed extension I had to manage and be able to selectively open using the Google doc viewer or in Word/Acrobat. So instead I added a bookmarklet to my bookmark bar: http://goo.gl/KD2rk It works just as well--just click the bookmarklet then click the doc link.
