This add-on does exactly what it is supposed to - change the reply header. What makes it better than others is the possibility to change the reply per E-Mail account on a separate basis and to also change the forwarding header. On top of all of that, this add-on was the only one I could find that on this date was already prepared for Thunderbird 6. All other add-ons that I knew of that did similar functions, were not 6.0 ready yet.

And to the developer: Also, weitermachen und viel Glück bei der Weiterentwicklung, ich war begeistert.

I really like this plugin. It's annoying that Thunderbird's own quote headers are so minimal by default. However, my company requires that we start our replies above the quote, and SmartTemplate 4 puts my .signature after the quote header, so I have to keep cutting and pasting my .signature back above the quote. Maybe it's a limitation of Thunderbird? The old SmartTemplate had the same limitation. Thanks, and keep up the great work!

Thanks so much for taking my issue into consideration!! The workaround you mention is very usable, and makes using Thunderbird great again.

thank you for your review. We have as base the original Smart template and have change and fix a lot of in the meantime. When we can change the Signature problem then we will do it...At moment you can help out with this solution:Make your signature as part of the reply header inside ST4 and uncheck 'include signature for replies' in TB.

The add-on works well in TB 5.0. However I would like some more flexibility. For example, if sender = xxx then use template abc. This would be very useful if you are, e.g., subscribed to a mailing list in a foreign language.

Thank you for your review and your suggestion for improvement. If is possible then we thinking about your suggestion for improvement (we will check). FACT: Smart Template 4 can't support Thunderbirds address book this is working with Binary Code and needed Informations you can't catch with an Addon (Javascript). BTW: Smart Template 4 is more flexible then other Addons that are made for Custiomize your Mailheaders (eg. Change Quote)! By this reason i can't understand that you give only 4 Stars...
