As this add-on is a client, it requires a server counterpart listening in your text editor to work.
Please see https://github.com/exteditor/ghostbird/#requirements for some known server add-ons and usage.
(I have tested with VSCodium, VSCode, Vim, and Notepad via GhostText-Any so far.)

This add-on is still in beta. Editing is not bidirectional, i.e., the email text on Thunderbird side will become read-only while Ghostbird is active.

This is an initial beta release.

Uploaded xpi and the source code are identical to ones uploaded here: https://github.com/exteditor/ghostbird/releases/tag/v0.2.0

It lacks status notification nor error message box except the toolbar button becoming red or blue, but the console log is chatty. I intend to add header to console logs and make them less verbose after adding notification UIs in the coming versions.
